Yes it's the battle of the vintage US sitcoms!

I've been thinking of going to this, but might not make up my mind in enough time to get a ticket. As things stood earlier today we've sold 1441 but are going to be selling our out allocation of 1800 for sure. Hopefully a vocal away support will urge the players on rather than causing them to wither under the spotlight as this is one of the games I had pegged as tricky for us. Sure Morecambe are starting to slide down the league now (and according to experimental 3-6-1 are the worst team in the division) but it is a bit of a derby and anything can happen. Last time though we took a big crowd and scored two late goals to come from a goal down to win.

Interesting to see how Miller and Devitt do, if they start and how they perform. Jabo may be itching for a start having scored two in two and if he does then it could be with Wyke and Miller both dropping to the bench, however Wyke is on good form and Miller is starting to look like the player he was at Morecambe.

And I got slated for Morecambe and Wyke last season! :lac:

Last season's late comeback was brilliant, one of my favourite moments of the season.

The last two games at Morecambe we've played below par and I'd say we were lucky to win on both occasions. I hope we put in a good performance and most importantly get the three points.

I'd personally start both Devitt and Miller against their former club, and probably use Wyke as a second half sub.

Gillespie
Miller
Raynes
Gillesphey
Grainger
Adams
Jones
Joyce
Kennedy
Jabo
Miller

I think this is what Curle will opt for, though I don't fancy Kennedy on the wing.

Sadly our youth team were beaten 4-1 against Blackpool the other day, which ends our record of being unbeaten at all levels in all competitions. Hopefully the senior team can keep their run going with a win.

We've sold out now, possibly a slight chance of getting half of that mini side-stand if required?

I'm looking forward to it, should be a good game.

Yeah it's usually got some home fans, but normally half empty. I think it was possibly Southend who had the whole end when they went up a couple years ago.

How many will you be bringing next weekend?

You've given us 1668 .....and it's all ticket !....Really , what is the point of having a 15000 capacity stadium if you have no intention of using it..... it just plain annoys me ..... open the terrace for any pay on the day ...

It's actually 18,202. Have we indicated whether more will be made available should you sell out, I guess the reason why you can't given the Waterworks End initially is that opening it would mean extra costs in stewarding and we'd want to know whether that cost will be recouped before committing to opening it.

I know we're 3rd and unbeaten in the league, but I just feel that there's something big that's still missing at the club and that is the reason why we still get poor home attendances of 4500 when usually we'd get 6000+ if we were doing this well, like we did in 2006.

I believe that if we start playing decent football at home, the crowds will rise. Ive been to every game this season other than Cambridge and our best football have come away from home.

If you sell out that allocation, you'll get the terrace. We gave you it a couple of seasons ago, Everton and Oxford got it last season.

I was more referring to all ticket ....that can put a few late decides off , from both sides ....with an 18202 capacity , you should be able to manage with any amount of walk ups ....its not just you , it's everywhere it seems

So Charlie Wyke getting injured in the cuntatrade trophy gives us a bit of a problem in the forward areas. Do we put Jabo in like for like, or do we set up like we did at Doncaster with Devitt behind S Miller? If that combo is going to explode in any game it's this one surely?

No, we accept that our season is now over and we start planning for next season.

I always feel that Morecambe are one of those teams that can and often will beat us. I can't remember us ever recording a comfortable victory over them anyway, last season we came back with two late goals at their place while Jamie Devitt tore us a new one at ours (let's hope Devitt can put in other top performance in this fixture). Don't know if it's just that they rise to the occasion, which always draws a big crowd, especially at their place, of if it's the wiliness of Jim Bentley but I think Morecambe will perform well.

While their form has taken what will come to be known as the 'Morecambe dip' they still got a good recent win at Cambridge and made light work of Stoke's - whatever we're calling the team that Stoke put out. Reading their forum though I'm led to believe that Charlie Adam has single-handedly put the spine of their squad into the treatment room so maybe we can take advantage, but I don't think we're that good at taking advantage of situations where we have a clear upper hand so we'll see.

Because of the unfortunate for me layout of the fixture list this season, the Checkash*te boycott and trying to be loyal to CA this season this is probably one of only maybe 2 Carlisle games i'll get to this season and is my first this season.

unbeaten so far until i watch them....................100% loss.

True true.

At least it will mean another 2 month unbeaten run after today.

Who cares about the unbeaten run? It'll have to end sometime, as long as we stay within the top 3 then that's great. I'd much rather us be on a winning run anyway, more exciting!

Well with the league as close as it is right now, whenever it does end, we won't be remaining in the top three that week so I'm all for it.

No surprise, you lot have got a very decent side. Was impressed when you held us we held you to a draw at The Abbey, and could tell you were going to be up there this year.

Someone said this week that we'd been flying under the radar.

This was Sky Sports summing up the league table today.
'Plymouth lead the way and won today with Doncaster in second also winning, then it's a three point gap down to Portsmouth in fourth'.

shhhhh... nobody let it slip that we're here.

Well a second routine win against a team we always beat away, sounded like Kennedy was our star player today and overall a good team performance. I don't see how we can't make it 3 wins in a row with our next match against an inferior team.

There's something really building in this team now, so let's start being positive and not knock oursleves.

Seriously is that what they said? I shouldn't be surprised, elitist Londeners.

Dominating, thoroughly deserved win.

Apart from the first 5 minutes it was all Carlisle. Probably should have been more with Adams and Ibehre's chances.

I'm paraphrasing a bit, I can't remember his exact words about Plimuff and Donny's wins, but his exact words after Donny were definitely 'three point gap to Portsmouth'

Our league games this season have only come in two flavours.

Flavour 1 - score draw
Flavour 2 - win with clean sheet. (in fact until this past week that was specifically 1-0 wins)
