Big game this. Decent chance for us to get our first win and move out of the relegation zone. On the other hand a defeat would really put pressure on Yates (or at least I hope it would). I'll be conservative and predict a low quality 0-0.

Making my first trip to Morecambe tomorrow. Praying we can get our first win- Yates surely has to go if not.

Couple of big games coming up for Morecambe with them playing here next Saturday. I know it's a bit too early to call it but these 2 games are looking like 6 pointers already.

The old, hairless player derby. Danny Whitaker not being the oldest outfield player is odd.

May be advertised as a vital relegation 6-pointer but Notts County aren't going be this pants all year so we might just be fighting for 23rd.

Sadly my prediction of that being a playoff for 23rd was probably accurate. We were just about shading it before the injury and red card in 2 mins that was obviously less than ideal but it's so clear some players are just not good enough. The 15ish min appearance by Vincenti at the end was one of the most disgraceful, pathetic performances I've seen by a footballer.

Yates has destroyed this team. Yes losing Whitehead and Durrell was a big loss but what's happening is shameful.

Red card changed the game so Rose has to take a lot of the blame. But some of Yates's decisions were just as bad - bringing Vincenti on for Marsh was a travesty.

On another note I'd highly recommend the chippy not too far from the ground in Morecambe. Great food.

3 points is 3 points when your scrapping at the bottom, really pleased you won. Looks like its going to be a long season, Jim lad has been in a few battles in recent years so you've a good man at the helm to see you ( hopefully ) to safety come season end.
