At our latest supporters meeting with the owners it was mentioned that our player budget is about 600k. So i was just wondering how ours compared to everyone else.

Has anyone got an idea of what their teams budget is??

I've seen Chester's mentioned as 450k
Ebbsfleet's rumoured at 1.2 million (our owners mentioned that ours is half their budget)

Something like £750k-800k would be my guess. Plus money raised through the Build the Budget initiative that we did, I think that was about £50k off the top of my head.

£1m on gates of 1,100 .... that's some feat.

We're still getting some Football League money after being relegated 18 months ago. Stops after 2 seasons though....

Correct it will drop considerably next season.

We also have other incomes. Our function rooms run at high capacity. Also a 7 day a week public house. And we charge away fans £21! That £1m includes back room staff inc physio, Playing budget is about £750k.

No idea what our budget is, not sure parmenter would ever say, but says today

"To put into context the cost of watching football at our level and Dover Athletic in particular, an average gate receipt after deducting V.A.T. at 20% and match day costs will pay approximately half of that week’s wages, so all the other running costs plus a great deal of the wage bill rely on sponsorship and frankly my support."

Getting his excuses in and is obviously hoping his club get reffed out of contention because going up would, as we know, RUIN them.

Why would it? They'd get the Football League central funding which is what now .. £850k

Good Question - Our is at least £1million - But I reckon its more £1.4million myself.

Eastleigh will have the biggest for sure.

Would love to see how much Fylde are paying Danny Rowe to stay part time.

I can’t believe the number of teams with budgets of, apparently, £1m+ that are doing so badly.

I thought parachute payments were supposed to be invested in infrastructure, not just blown on wages. Clearly not an idea that has caught on.......

How do you know what you’re clubs budget is? I have no idea of ours. What I do know is our biggest transfer fee paid was 50k for Dan Bradley and we sold him to Kiddy for 75k. We signed 5 players from the league below. Montrose from Stockport, 3 lads from kiddy and 2 that weren’t wanted by Salford. The exception was Muldoon from Lincoln. I’d be amazed if ours was a million but I don’t know much about it

In our case, the Chairman tells us at a supporters' meeting every summer. I would guess the fan-owned clubs are also relatively transparent, the bankrolled clubs less so.

Of course they aren't, they don't want people knowing the crazy, unsustainable money they're chucking about the place.

I dread to think what Rowe is on at Fylde, it'll be obscene.

Master D, I’ve been told £1200 a game and £400 a goal. Probably bullshit though

Wokings was reduced to 400 quid this year.

Garry Hill effectively claimed it was £255k last season. LOL. Even though we have huge losses every year.

No idea what it is this year or whether it was influenced by the mythical investor and the £99 season ticket offer.

Pretty sure our budget was around the £600k mark last season? Not sure it'd go up so much, even with BtB and money coming in from Taylor and Moult's transfers.

On budget we'd be in the bottom four, I think. We've run a skeleton squad this year to save money for stadium improvements and haven't replaced Tarpey and Inman.

Thank fuck we have Devonshire in charge. A large chunk of our squad is NL South standard and your average manager at this level would have us right down there with Guiseley etc.

My rough calculations suggest that we’ll earn around £1.65 million in gate receipts this season. We’ve got more money to play with than most and our infrastructure doesn’t need investment now the disarray behind the scenes has been rectified.

I'd expect ours (Barrow) to be somewhere in the region of £900k to £1 million - chairman says it went up in the summer, but we've since got rid of a few contracted players and replaced them with cheaper.
Our squad is only small, but we've got a handful of players on more than £1,000, and very few low-paid locals or youth teamers. It's never been revealed what our budget is, but I can't see it being more than £1 million (yes, I know that's still ridiculous given our crowds).

For a bit of context, a Forest Green director apparently revealed that Liam Noble was paid £3,000p/w last season!

I was thinking more of Dagenham and Hartlepool, both of whose budgets seem high given their crowds (particularly the former).

Have to say I agree with that, Devonshire knows how to work wonders with Part Time teams down here. When do you think the ground will get improved? Its in such a tight location as well..........

It's total pie in the sky this whole fascination with guessing budgets, who knows what we're spending on players, all I do know is it's way to fucking much and how are you gonna lump us with Dagenham with regards to attendance, we're averaging nearly 2.5 times more than them man.

If the figure quoted above is correct, you would have basically the same budget as us on an average gate 1,700 lower, which does not add up. As you say though, could be nonsense.

Our playing budget is around £375k this season. I think some of the other figures on here are exaggerated.
