We welcome Chester for the first time in twelve years, they sneaked a 1-0 win here on a Tuesday night as well, a game which we had 25+ shots on goal but lost 1-0 to a Stuart Drummond goal.

We looked a bit better Saturday, certainly in terms of shape. But our current backline have individual errors in them, Joe Widdowson and Jamie Sendles-White the two main culprits. Young Dan Happe continues to slowly progress well, but we've not got 3 points with him in the team yet.

We have to play two up front, this is a game we have to look to win. I can understand trying to keep it tight against Dover, but we have to find a win from somewhere. We will create chances, but will certainly continue to have many brain farts at the back until Josh Coulson at least returns.

We have struggled against Macclesfield since relegation to this league. We certainly owe them one after being thrashed at Moss Rose on New Year's Day and losing the Trophy semi-final to them a few weeks later.

With Connor Jennings available and Norburn hopefully fully fit, we should be better than on Saturday. Difficult to gauge what our following will be: in normal circumstances I would say about 1,000, but there is a lot of apathy around the club at the moment.

At least one of the two RLC names must surely obey the rule about ex-players scoring against their former clubs. Macc seem to have fallen away a little, after a good start, so going for a draw in this one.

Daggers v Dover, the pick of the games on paper, while I think Orient will edge the battle of the strugglers over Chester. Went to an entertaining 4-3 between that pair during my London exile.

On current form it's a win for Dover. Really hope we show up tonight and get a result. Most of our squad are fit now so no more excuses.

No more excuses - time to show our metal and grasp the three points.

With Dover away at a tricky tie we could theoretically go top (not that this really matters at this point)

We won't though. Dover will win and we will scrape a draw against Solihull Motors.

Norburn and Jennings will score 100%.

Solihull will play the game of their lives tonight, guaranteed.

Simply have to win tonight if we don’t want the crowds to tumble and stay in touch with the top 7. Knives are out for Harrison after Saturday and to be fair he does need a result. Our home record and ‘performances’ are less than acceptable.

Let’s see what this group has in them but I’m expecting a drab 0-0

Went up that season didn't you? We were up there in the play-offs at the time as well but fell away.

How times change.

Off to East of London for the second time in a week, this time to part with £21 to stand by my seat,
Dover have gone 10 without defeat , but too many draws in that run, feel we are due a defeat, but we have still not lost of a Saturday this season, Oh Shit! its Tuesday today

Norburn and/or Jennings will score from 25 yards with the ball going straight through Jalal, McNulty will score a header from a corner and we'll lose, kick-starting Tranmere's season as they surge to the title.

Despite the constrasting starts to the season for us and them I'm not feeling particularly confident about tonight (you may have noticed from the first sentence).

first away game tonight due to work committments, hopefully motorway will be clear as i dont finish till 530....

norburn to score early to answer the grief he is getting from the 50 gobs who stand in the paddock to the left of the away end only for defensive stupidity to lead to a 97th minute equiliser, just after we have had a rock solid penalty turned down by referee b lind

We're away at Gateshead, who sound like they have been parking the bus a lot recently. I don't recall us getting back-to-back away wins in years, so at best a 0-0 is all we can hope for. A point'll do us.

If Wrexham can't beat Solihull then expect Sutton to be top at 10.00pm. We always lose at Dagenham.

Last season Boreham accounted for 3 of our 7 clean sheets in all competitions, and after the draw at the weekend we really need all 3 points to keep pace. 1-0 defeat incoming

Fylde off wtf!
4 hours of light drizzle?

Great set up but drainage really shouldn't be an issue at this point.

I was walking up to the stadium when the lights went out. It was called off because an electrician couldn't get there until 8.30. I assume 9.00 kick offs aren't allowed.

The other issue is that it was pitch black inside the ground so you probably cant keep fans inside for over an hour with no lighting due to H+S
