Dover Athletic vs Notts County
Halifax Town vs Eastleigh
King’s Lynn Town vs Woking
Torquay United vs Dagenham and
Weymouth vs Southend United

I don’t like this one bit. Team with reputation for losing stupid games away against bad teams on bad pitches? Away against a team who’ve not won all season on a cabbage patch in heavy rain and driving wind? I don’t like it one big. Genuinely a bigger test of our title credentials than Wrexham.

Dover are better than they were a few months ago although they’re still very poor. Pitch is like a ploughed field, if rain is due it could even be off but a big advantage to Dover.

We need to beat Torquay to stick with it, we will go 3rd if we win but will have played a silly amount of more games.

Aye, don’t like the look of the weather one bit. Fully expecting to be wandering around rainy Dover at 2pm sighing, just as at King’s Lynn.

They tried to call out game off when the pitch was fine no puddles etc, ref inspected the pitch at 2.30. Turns out their strange owner got wind of some late COVID cases and was trying to pull a fast one, no idea why they would want it off they’re already relegated and it would make no difference to their season.

Assuming they’re going to want this on - we should take 500 odd tomorrow, you can more than halve that if it’s on a Tuesday night.

Big game for us this. A win here will fill me with confidence going into the second half of the season

Be nice to have some proper away support, no-one has brought 200 yet
Lovely day today, but can see it being called off in the morning. Is your team coming down today?

Be amazed if we weren’t doing an overnight for this one. How much has it rained recently? That always seems to be a bigger impact on pitches than a downpour on the day.

Rain every other day, last home game was Boxing Day but only have a part time groundsman.
Just don’t want to see a 2pm postponement

Weather in Dover looks fairly horrendous from late morning on. Nailed on 230pm pp.

Some big games towards the bottom tomorrow.
I just cannot wait for us to get Devonshire’d 1-0 in the pouring rain.

Never trust these tinpotters. I rarely risk doing a long away game in the winter months.
B2TF is the same that’s why he never does an away game, ever.

I'm quite worried since it looks like Mitch Walker is going to be back in goal for us. Andrews going is a blow, but I imagine Panayioutou comes in for him

Slocombe on a boggy meadow with balls fizzing everywhere across the surface - what could go wrong!

Indeed! In all seriousness Slocombe is a v good keeper for the NL, it’s just Patterson is another level. Plus Slocombe’s confidence won’t have been helped by being immediately benched last week. Glad it’s Dover and KL up tbh!

Slocombe is deffo a good keeper but he seems to have made a few sloppy errors this season from what I’ve seen on highlights. Will be fine.

Not confident we will play tomorrow. Our pitch is terrible during winter and rain is supposed to arrive tomorrow morning. Go top with a win. Although played 2/3 games more than Chesterfield and Boreham.

9th October was the last time we played a home league game on a Saturday. If tomorrows is off we will have another month tagged onto that till our next Saturday home game

6 Pointer tomorrow. Lose and we could be in trouble as I can't see us getting anything against Yeovil

He's been poor right from pre-season. Cost us a goal in his last game and as he's so inconsistent he's now a liability.
Notts fans love him, or did but I thought we should have released him in the summer as he'd lost his spring and any confidence to come off his line.

It would be so Notts to lose to Dover due to a slippery ball being dropped by Slocombe.

Our season doesn't properly start until we've had a home game called off at 1430 (due to either an isolated puddle or frozen patch) and a load of fans from darn sarf have made a pointless trip.

Aldershot (and Boreham Wood, apparently )
I refuse to believe that we’re gonna be Devonshired, so a Shots win for me, and as I’m in a good mood, 3-1.
That’s fucked it, good and proper.

Our first game of the year, a couple of new signings in the team and retaining Jacper means our defence has a younger more mobile look about it. The strikers have been doing well all season, for a bottom 5 team. I am pretty hopeful of a good result today.

Will cheer me up after finding out I have a kidney stone in the week.

(Those damn Stones lol.....)
