Who do the Welsh fans want?

Ryan Giggs , Kenny Jackett and Tony Pulis early favourites..

Not exactly a glowing list of choices but then nor was Chris Coleman I guess.

I hope it's Pulis, then at least he'd be out of the Premier League.

I’d have thought It’s nailed on for Pulis if he wants it.

Wales' next competitive match is in a year's time so they might as well wait until Coleman is sacked at Sunderland and let him take over again.

That might be the most underwhelming list of managerial candidates, ever.

I'm waiting for Big Sam to not rule himself out.

Pulis gets a lot of flack but Wales would be very good with him in charge. They'd be hard to beat and would score the odd goal to win most games. Sure it wouldn't be pretty but then again neither would have England been had Big Sam not been greedy. England would still be a better proposition on paper and on the pitch than with Southgate in charge.

Wales could do a lot worse than Pulis.

Big Sam was fully prepared to play possession football though, will Pulis? Wonder how long Bale would take of hoofed balls to chase before he retires from international football...

Pulis would be a very good international manager I reckon.

I’m amazed Nathan Jones hasn’t been mentioned by anyone in the media as at least being in contention, not that I’d want him to go.

He is a manager that will go a long way in the game.

He is a young, up and coming Welsh manager; with bundles of passion and likes to play attacking exciting football.

Well he's more qualified than Giggs so why not.

I think Pulis would be shit for Wales. He often falls out with players who don't conform to his way. His style works at club level where he can buy workman with the same attitude as himself. However, at international level, where Wales have built a feel good foundation, I don't think his approach would have the same impact as Coleman's. Might be completely wrong obviously as Pulis is a better football manager than Coleman. But yeah, just a gut feeling.

Jonathan Ford will escape punishment for his attack on the good people of England. Unbelievable, it's like being English is considered a crime in your own country. These days if you say you're English you'll get arrested and thrown in jail.

I remember this sort of reaction to Gary Speed (who had a total of what, 4 months managerial experience at Sheffield United before taking over Wales) and Chris Coleman.

People slag Giggs off for his lack of friendly games in the 90s, can you remember what a disorganised shower we were under Bobby Gould? (Not to mention Giggs did have several long-term injuries in the late 90s).

Was he my first choice? No. But he's the manager of Wales and I'm going to at least give him the benefit of the doubt

Well no doubt he's going to do the best he can, but that doesn't take away from the fact he wasn't arsed with Wales as a player. Those injuries you speak of sure cleared up after internationals were over.
Craig Bellamy was a living breathing injury but always played for Wales when he could.
