Someone had to make it.

Anybody doing anything? I'm going to give the fags the slip, cut down on the ale and have takeaways once in a while. Since her dad had a heart attack it's scared everyone into examining their excesses. This thread will largely be a reminder of my failings but it's intended to check on progress.

The wife has to go gluten free now so i'll be eating a lot different so with that in mind hopefully I can cut out the crisps and the chocolate as there will be none in the house anyway. Was planning on doing it anyway so it's not really a resolution. That will hopefully coincide with me dropping some weight and becoming healthier, that's my aim going forward.

A guy I worked with had to go gluten free, ate some dodgy chicken and wound up in hospital. You can get nice stuff but it's very expensive. He's looking really good and he says it's the best thing that's happened to him, although he admits he would never have been able to do it without being forced.

It is expensive but it's also manageable thankfully. She's never been a big bread eater so that kills a lot of the cost. Plus generally if you make things from scratch it's easy to keep things gluten free it's when you're in a rush and you need to eat as you go kind of thing will be out of the window, so is 99% of takeaways which again helps aha.

Brown rice is ace. White is just a flavourless mush in comparison. Black is probs better than brown actually but messy to cook. Water ends up like Ribena, staining everything.

Weighing everything up - nutrition, taste, texture, mess - brown is tops for me.

To try and stop online betting, I spend too much. Even if it's just little bets they all add up

I'm going to save up and buy my own restaurant ( hopefully). Become less easy going and more uptight. I'd also like to become less tolerant and perhaps more opinionated.

Maybe get a real job instead of self-employment, worry less, eat less sugar, that kind of thing. Fat chance.

I should really slow down the intake of sugar I have on a weekly basis. Sweets are my biggest weakness at the moment.

Finish my final paper and project and study really hard to take a new entrance exam for a second graduation. The rest I'll let to 2017.

Eat less sugar like TA, go for a run more consistently, and earn a pay rise at work, which'll probably involve an exam somewhere.

We'll see!
All the best wih your goals folks.

Stop drinking, doing it way too much lately. Might take up some regular exercise that isn't walking, possibly swimming, the local pool isn't too far away and I do love those flumes. Finish Hungry Hungry Hippo and my other projects. Get rich or die tryin.

Get my hole, its been a while! :bdick:

Seriously, I'm already doing a lot of things I asked of myself so just keep doing that and once one or two things are sorted out, get a job!

I'm going to need the opening sentence explained to me in simpler terms.
