Gayle and Mitrovic both out of this. Death to the League Cup.

We're either gonna be giving a youngster their debut at RB/CB or starting Ince (not a CB) alongside Dunk, so despite the injury news on your strikers, I'm still not particularly confident.

If Stephens returns to the midfield though I'd definitely give us a chance.

Poor lad is cursed. Whenever he's been given an opportunity he's picked up an injury shortly after. Shame, because he's clearly talented.

Referee is buying the Brighton theatrics all the time. Haven't read the rules cover to cover, but I can't imagine there's justification for the Perez yellow card in there.

Soft as shite this Brighton side. Falling over at every available opportunity. Can only assume their game plan is to get within 40 yards of goal then take a dive so they can punt a free kick near Murray. Referee is a joke, bit of a running theme in this divsion.

Really chuffed with that. Barring a couple of scares I think we dominated large parts of the game.

Considering our two best strikers were out as well I think we looked really good going forward especially Diame and Gouffrqn for me.

Think that's our season properly off the mark now.

I brought it up after the Fulham match but I probably just sounded bitter. As G.B said, he just fell for everything. Utterly horrendous.

The officials are pretty terrible. It's amazing and incredibly annoying how much diving goes unnoticed and rewarded. Seems to be a key playing tactic for some teams / players.

Agreed. I mean don't get me wrong, it's not to say the PL officiating is good, but for the most part it's consistent.

Luckily we got away with it yesterday but all it took was for Knockheart (or Kenockheart if you were the commentator) to score as opposed tonhittingbthe bar.

Doesn't seem like there is one competent ref in the football league. Just imagine how bad the quality in non-league must be.
The ones that do the Western League matches are generally good!
