Newcastle 1-3 Everton, I can't see Newcastle getting anything from this.

0-3. Everton should be way too much going forward for the Geordies and McClaren still doesn't know who to start up front.

Some refs are absolute shit at playing advantage. Anita is fouled in goal range, the refs allowed the advantage which is with Wijnaldum with his back to the play almost out for a throw in on the left side of the pitch with men covering him. Yeah, great advantage.

And Cleverley has killed the Geordies at the death.

First time he knocked the ball forwards all day! Fucking scenes there!

We were shit, Newcastle somehow more so. Our subs were bloody abysmal and Cleverley should have been hauled off long before the end. He got Martinez out of jail there.

Must have been hard for Everton fans to invade the pitch at St Jame's with that late goal? ;)

Newcastle played very well by the looks.

I've quite liked what I've seen from Mitrovic so far but he does miss too many chances, he should've done better with that header.

How do you work that out? One shot on target and one missed sitter at home? Not denying the timing and circumstances of our goal were cruel, but it was more than deserved.

The MOTD footage and how it was cut showed Newcastle with 3 or 4 good chances, Everton fewer, and obviously nicking the goal at the end, with a corner following a last gasp break.

I'm sure that doesn't tell the whole story of the game. But thought it worth saying that Newcastle looked ok on that showing and as part of their continued recent improvement would consider themselves unlucky.

I didnt see MOTD, so fair enough. Seems their coverage was a bit skewed then.

We havent scored from a corner since dinosaurs walked the earth! The celebrations werent so wild because it was last minute, it was because it was from a corner!
