Newcastle have won one game at home all season, and that was against fellow strugglers Norwich. I'll be both surprised and annoyed if we don't collect maximum points here, and our away form is good.

1-3

No-one loses to the barcodes do they?

If anybody can it's Liverpool, wow they're so hit and miss. With no quality striker in the squad fit or un-fit and with Horrenderson as your best play maker Liverpool will obviously struggle and i think the Geordies will pile on the pressure for Flopp

Liverpool should win this comfortably against a very poor Newcastle team.

Newcastle 1-0 Liverpool;)

Liverpool should win easily but be typical if Newcastle somehow nicked something in raising their game as against Chelsea.

I don't think this game will that easy. Unlike against other teams, bar Chelsea, Newcastle will probably park the bus. So it is important we have Coutinho back for this game. Front 3 of Coutinho Sturridge and Firmino would be amazing!

I'm sure Sturridge will pick up some kind of injury between now and then. Maybe a grazed knee.

I've heard he was cutting his toenails last night and he took one a little too close to the digit. He's out for a month until it grows back.

Are you going to hold your hands up about Sturridge...........you wanted him gone and a replacement in January?

Look at the size of those bollocks!

It's bold claim. But then again, Southampton are a far better team than Newcastle at the moment. If only footballing logic was that simple.

Despite last nights result, it's still a 1-3 for me. I'm actually more confident about this game than I would be if it was at Anfield, we still have a way to go with our home form.

3-0 Liverpool. Newcastle are fucking woeful at the minute and there's no fight in them like there is with other fellow strugglers. If you play decent enough football but are on the wrong end of results, like Bournemouth, you can see there may be a light at the end of the tunnel. For Newcastle the tunnels fucking caved in. They're gonna have to appoint Steve McQueen come January.

Put it in before the match last night as well. They should win if they play something like they have been away from home and I'm hoping it's by a few goals to improve their GD.

If our recent away form is anything to go by should be another 3 points for the reds. Can't see it being the thrashing everyone is expecting though! 0-2 Bentekke and Milner.

Newcastle look like they don't give a toss at the moment whereas Liverpool, who have picked up some impressive results away from home, are working their bollocks off for Klopp and showing the quality to go with it most of the time. They should win and pretty comfortably.

Always nervous about playing relegation-battle teams at their own ground, plus I think Newcastle are under-performing, their squad is better than their points tally, imo.

dilema. do i go to the pub with a liverpool supporting mate and spend 30 quid for the privilege of listening to him and his (geordie accented) dad hurl abuse when we inevitably get thumped, or do i stay home and cry in to my beer while listening to my newcastle supporting mate shout abuse at the tv for a couple of hours? decisions, decisions :pond:

Spend the 30 quid on one of those horse masks and stay at home and hope that your Newcastle supporting mate knocks you out so you don't have to witness the brutality unfolding on the telly.

"NUFC's 20 PL defeats in 2015 equals their record. Which was set in ... 2014, when the saintly Alan Pardew was manager."

Just putting out a quick stat for all those who thought Pardew was some kind of saviour.

If you don't thrash them there is something wrong.

Stop managing expectations :gr:

Sturridge makes only the bench and no Coutinho in the squad, damn. That Lucas Allen Milner midfield doesn't fill me with confidence. Plus in Cou's absence I would probably have started Lallana. Now there's no real playmaker there. Anyway, let's do this!

1 - 0 Liverpool, Ibe with a screamer from 30 yards.
