Newport v Grimsby

Unfortunately I can't see anything other than a narrow defeat here, it will be an awful game what with the state of Newport's pitch and the best I see us doing is grinding out a 0-0 but I expect us to lose 1-0.
This is also looking like being our lowest away league following in years as we have only pre sold 80 tickets, pay on the day as well but I still don't see us having any more than 150 there, my excuse being that us Grimbarians are all romantics at heart and we are all too busy taking our missus's out for a Valentines Day dinner!

Listen mate 100ish away support at Newport is tremendous, I cant be that much of a romantic as I will be watching the Cods play Bradford tomorrow night, and loving it !!!

The game after our 5-0 drubbing at Braintree was Newport away.

Same result as then, 0-0 with the ball stuck in the mud in the centre circle all game.

I think a drab 0-0 will be excused given the circumstances but if we lose this I can see Bignot being under tremendous pressure from a big chunk of the fan base, there's already a good amount still fuming after Saturday. They're struggling to understand the concept that we are already building for next season. Apparently we've given up on promotion when it was always a ridiculous long shot anyway. Fickle lot.

Hopefully we can scramble in a goal or two but I can't see past a piss poor draw.

I can report first hand that it certainly was not a cracker. Felt like a non league game with two teams taking it in turns to hoof it at each other on a shite pitch while the officials tried their hardest to ruin what was already a pretty terrible footballing spectacle.
