Announced just now, Chairman David Cardoza has announced his intention to sell to an Indian Consortium. He'll recoup the money he has put in so should receive £8-12 million pounds. I trust him to sell to a decent group of people, as him and his dad are both big fans of the club and time and time again have dug deep to pull us out of the shit. The consortium also takes control of the current redevelopment (hence why it's been stalling) and the surrounding property projects. Embarking on a new era.......

Good he's going the sell out c***. Taking advantage of a club in a dire state like that was disgusting.

No problem, it was only pennies. Enjoy League 2 boys. We've got bigger fish to fry in Fleetwood.

Call me cynical but any foreign based investor in a lower league team gives me the heebie-jeebies.

Who owns the stadium? If that's part of the club sale, be afraid, be very afraid.

I'm not trying to drag this down and if you get the dream and live the dream then more power to you but my first question would be if the guy leading it has £2.6 billion why does he need a consortium at all?

Guys with that kind of money usually like to be the only fish in the pond not just the biggest.

All questions are intriguing ones in this scenario. I'm sceptical, and nervous, but who knows what will happen. Reading about him it says he's known as a very down to earth man and likes to keep things simple so perhaps he's not an egotistical monster

Maybe he's seen you're based at Sixfields and is planning to take you over as an IPL side, you could be the MK Dons of cricket.

If these guys are worth so much, why Northampton? Obviously wanting to showcase the prestigious Cobblers brand around the subcontinent.

Very sceptical. I remember the guy at Salisbury not so long ago who was worth megabucks - he was a fraudster.

Not to forget Notts County's situation a couple of years ago.

After 12 months of foreign ownership and lots of money being pumped into my football club, I can speak from experience and say I haven't enjoyed it at all.

Of course, every owner is different. Our has invested ALOT of money into our playing squad - Yet due to him hiring incompetent and inexperienced staff - We find ourselves one year on from going into a season with the biggest wage budget in the clubs history - A league lower due to our new owners awful decisions.

I hope your new owner sticks with the same CEO or at least hires one with experience, because we had one of the best around - But he was sacked and another Italian was brought in - Someone who has NO IDEA how to run a football club with zero experience and whom doesn't like football too much as well.

Our clubs communication has been shambolic, our owner has not ONCE met with any of the fans and keeps his distance - The CEO usually has to face fans and if I'm honest he is clueless.

If he invests money into your playing staff at the very least, pray these new people get the right people running the club from the top, because believe me after last season, I can assure you all problems from the top filter down onto the pitch.

Hope this works out for Northampton and these people are revealed soon.

I go away for one week and I hear we are being sold out of the blue, crazy, unexpected to say the least!

I am a bit worries tbh. I don't want to be going to see afc northampton in a few seasons. That being said if this guy or group are at least slightly legit then I will be looking forward to the ride. Ever since our redevelopment started there has been rumour and murmurings of discontent. Hoping when this is all announced and cleared up that it will all clear.
