Tranmere are on their way down next Saturday, already looking forward to it after today's win. Fancy us to get another win and if we can I think it'll be lift off for this side. Tranmere look to have settled pretty well into life back in the football league, but I fancy we've got that extra quality to get past them.

Any of the Trannies on here coming down?

2-0 Cobblers

I’ll be heading down. 900 tickets we’ve been given I think I read. Imagine we’ll being around 6/700.

We’re looking good at the minute, going forward we’ll cause anyone problems. At the back we do look prone to the odd mistake.

I’ll go for a 1-1 draw. Norwood obviously to score.

Ill go for a 3-1 home win now. We should have got more points on the board then we have but after a good first win last week i fancy us to go on a bit of a run. Nailed on to concede though as we havnt kept a clean sheet in years.

Apparently we've had the most shots in the league, sure we should get some points for that

I'm also coming down for it and looking forward to the game. We've looked threatening away form home so far in attack but have conceded 5 in 2 games (albeit one was with 10 men for 70 mins). However since the Swindon game we've kept two clean sheets and sured up at the back.

I'll go for an entertaining 1-1.

Unfortunately I can`t make the game tomorrow due to work but I must admit I would be interested to see how Ash Taylor handles hopefully a front two of James Norwood and Paul Mullin both of whom will probably run him all over the pitch.

After an indifferent start to the season, he is due to have a blinder.
No where better than against a former club like Tranmere.

His family are Tranmere fans and still live local to Prenton Park. I say are Tranmere fans they used to be. Given the stick he got when he played here and then when he left I think it’s turned them against us. He feels he has a point to prove and will no doubt revel in getting one over us.

He didn’t help himself at times but some of the grief he got went too far, he grow up around the club and wanted to be successful here. Ultimately he played his part in our relegation and walked away for nothing.

Northampton 1-1 Tranmere. Waters and Jennings on the score sheet.

Ash Taylor was a good player for us in a succession of poor teams, and I have got nothing against him. I am glad he has had a decent career.

As for Saturday, I would be delighted with a point. I think about 6-700 Rovers fans will travel.

Home fans where is the best place to park?

In the housing estate behind the petrol station opposite (ish) the ground. Its free and saves you taking 2 hours to get out of the car park.

You exaggerate, if you go into the 'grass' car park on the right between the M1 and the ground, it's £3 and you are out onto the duel carriageway pointing towards the M1 in no time after the game.

I didn`t give Taylor stick during his time at Rovers as it is not my style, although I do know fans who did. I just didn`t think he was very good

To be fair parking anywhere around the ground won't leave you waiting long to get to the motorway, 10 minutes max

Another 2 points dropped today.

Tranmere started well first 10, then for the rest of the game we were dominant. We simply have to start taking our chances, got into so many good positions today yet couldn't capitalise.

Surprised how Tranmere played, 10 minutes gone they were looking good and were getting joy against our defence and then they just shut up shop. Time wasting after about 26 minutes when there was a game to be won, found that strange.

I don't think we were consciously being negative, we just were not at the races today. We did not pass the ball as we have been doing and it was our poorest performance of the season.

I think a draw was a fair result. You had long periods of possession but did not really test Scott Davies, and we had several good chances on the break. I thought you were clearly the better side in the first half an hour, but the second half was a stalemate.

Gave the ball away so many times today, very frustrating.

Thought we actually looked better with Smith on the left and Jennings on the right. Positives today were a great performance from Ellis and another goal for Nors.

Surely Stockton won't get another start for a while after that though.

Northampton passed it well but you can see why they haven't got many points as they just aren't clinical enough.

We weren’t at the races today, so we’ve got to be happy with a point.

Thought Northampton looked good, and tore us apart down the wings but couldn’t put the ball in the back in the net. No matter how much pressure we’re under though, we’ll always be a threat with Norwood up top as shown today. Love the guy I do.

All in all a good day out.

Problem is our wingers are good up to the point a ball into the box is needed, so many times today Hoskins especially fluffed the final ball.

The consensus was at the start of the season we are missing some 'proper' wingers and it's showing.

Apparently we're averaging 15 shots a game this season in the league, makes such a change from the past two years which have been absolutely dreadful.
