..... no not for the top three, this is for the play offs.
Defeat here for either side could see them fall out of the POs with games running out. Coventry had a bit of form built up until they got star struck with Yeovil coming to town.
Notts on the other hand are so far from form the colour index on BBC looks like some kind of advert for traffic lights.

Our only saving grace is we are still good at home but even that’s faltering now.
Have a feeling we’ll lose this 1-0

A small, tiny part of me wants us to lose this to end any glimmer of false hope. The way we’ve been playing recently , our away form all season and our performances on TV mean we would be a complete waste of a play off spot. We would only be there due to loans from the Red Dogs.

Nervy draw written all over this one. Both teams will set up not to lose just as we did on Friday. Can't see it being an entertaining game for either sets of fans

Didn’t we try to win Friday and not to lose on Monday? Failed on both counts mind.

If we win this play offs a good possibility

If we lose it puts us out of our (2nd half to the season) misery.

The last thing I want is a draw

With you Viking, a draw just prolongs the thinking, would much rather we go for it and win/lose by actually trying.

I had the same opinion in the last 15/20 mins of the Wycombe game.

A draw was a far better result for them than us , yet both sides didn’t want to risk it near the end.

I expect a big reaction from the skyblues tomorrow.
Now the shame has receded from last weeks 6-2 home loss to Yeovil, I know they have worked hard in training this week and all the players have a point to prove.
I'm with the Notts fans, a draw is no good to either team though we do have a game in hand but it's points on the table that counts this close to season end.
I'm going for a 2-1 away win for the only and original skyblues.
Sky again called Man City the skyblues Wednesday, they are called the citizens I think, but definitely not the bloody skyblues.
We are and always have been the skyblues

Terrible game this but even I’m coming round to Nolan’s constant moaning about refs. Another one totally lost the game here when he didn’t send Biamou off during the half time fun and games.

God I hate this league. Shocking standard of football and shocking away days.

Not only are we not a good side, but we're not wise enough. No matter who we're playing Notts County or Accrington Stanley they will set out to park the bus and waste time.

Coventry invading the pitch, throwing smoke bombs all over and injuring one of their own players in the process only to concede pretty much straight from kick off was pretty funny.

Big win for us.

Jonny Forte scores goals. We are a different side when he plays.

A lot of gamesmanship today from Coventry and the ref pretty much lost control at one point. Untill surprise surprise, he starts handing out cards like it's Christmas

Deserved to win. Coventry are a good league two outfit but I felt we created the better chances and Grant was unlucky when he hit the post.

Scenes when we scored 40 seconds after Coventry fans were absolute pillocks.

Notts County were up there with the worst for time-wasting. Sums up this league.

Both teams were an absolute bunch of shits, as basically the entire top eight is tbh.

Ref lost control of the game when he didn’t give Biamou a second yellow for clapping straight in his face. Would’ve been a soft as shit second yellow but the players seemed to come out second half with no respect for him at all, first 15/20 were anarchy.

Awwwwwwww

Do Coventry City FC not time waste when winning? If not, may explain why you are in the 4th tier of English football.

Both sides did, Wycombe did last week , so did Notts. Accrington do it. Both sides fouled, others bought fouls and conned the inept ref.

If you don’t like it, be better. A lot better then you won’t drop down to this embarrassingly low level . Or you will get out of the league like Accrington and Luton.

The smoke bombs , pitch invasion was a thing of beauty, loved it even if you injured your own player in the process lol

Well it was until you conceded a minute or so later

Great atmosphere today, thought both sets of fans made good noise

The guys who tried to get Noble sent off was beyond ridiculous. Wasn't even a foul, the player ran into him and then 6 Coventry players surrounded the ref. It's getting disgusting at league two level how much of this you see week in week out

In regards to the smoke bombs and support, it's brilliant. The one thing that is good about the club is our away support and in particular the brilliant goal celebrations.

What did Yeovil fans goal celebrations look like?

Do Coventry City time waste or not when they have a single goal lead in the second half? You never answered

Similar to your celebration, a few fans clapping and sat back down.

We haven't gone into a game this season looking to score one goal and sit back.
Look at our goal ffs, you had two men standing in front of the ball when Doyle tried to take it.

Totally agree, I’ve got no problem with it - but it’s totally piss funny if you lose your shit to such an extent (over an equaliser at tinpot little Notts!) that you injure one of your own players and concede again within a minute.

Yeah Notts fans hardly celebrated the winner today :ffs:
They did that for all 6? :fish:
You could do with winning a few more by a goals That’s probably why you are where you are I guess.

Which player was it? He looked well pissed off as he hobbled back to restart the game

Tbf the lad who went down 'injured' is the one man who I would agree with as being unsporting. Goes down every time he is touched. He did exactly the same for the celebration. Embarrassing.

We are where we are this season because we are a poor side. It's baffling how we are still in the play off mix. Barely a good performance all season.

You played well against us on the first game of the season. If you can remember that far back

One man team back then. Losing Jodi Jones was a huge loss. He carried us early on in the season.
