This is happening tonight. Be a bit worried if we don't win it but I think we should be better at home with the massive pitch to play on. McLeod will probably score.

Go team!

I'd be very surprised if Crawley got anything out of this. Notts have been abit poor so far this season (results wise) but should have enough to win.

2-0.

Clean sheet. Ha.

I'm going for another repeat of last year's 5-3.

When we beat them 4-0 the other week they could barely kick the ball in a straight line.

Have any form of pacey forwards going at them and their defence panics.

I'd be highly surprised if county didn't win this.

That's good news because we usually play with six of pacy forwards in the same team.

Just bloody win for fsake Notts.
I want this manager to succeed, I like all the players, they all "should" have potential to do well, I am still waiting for this "click" to happen.

Put them under pressure whenever they're on the ball and they make mistakes. Especially in midfield. Not sure what to make of Crawley. They'd had some decent results before our game considering the teams they'd played.

Think Notts will win 3-1

If Moniz can't see the flamin' obvious and continues to play Stead so deep he's basically a midfielder I'll be starting to get worried. Play him up top or swap him for one of our actual good midfielders, FFS. And some actual full-backs e.g. Hewitt, Adams, Atkinson etc would be good. Kind of dreading to see the 'changes' Moniz has promised, tho.

At least the one Crawley player I have heard of, and rate, is banned

I'd have scored it, to be fair. Might as well have been a Carroll own goal.

We've run riot since going behind, should've had another couple.

How the fuck has Mike Edwards scored 2 goals? Can't quite believe he's still playing, he looked past it with us.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Steady 'the phoenix' Mike Edwards. Club legend, Player, Physio, Cook.

About time we smashed someone. Gonna be one of those frustrating seasons but lessons have been learnt.

1 full backs are not central defenders and vice versa
2 stead is not a midfielder
3 you need to make substitutes

Now let's see if he's willing to drop Carroll

We were shite tonight but won 4-1 and could've had double that. Just to give you some idea of how bad Crawley are.

Noble is class, though.

We've played well and lost. About time we got one like this imo. York on Saturday at home is a game to look to build upon

Crawley look like being in for a long, hard campaign. You get a feeling that they're in for several arse kickings, unless they somehow sort themselves out.

Bringing Smith in was weird, should be Thompson in there instead. Even Snijders at home.

We were fairly shite until the game was effectively over at 3-1 and we saw the game out with ease. The performance was dire but it was certainly a more balanced side with 3 proper midfielders (even though Smith was FUCKING WOEFUL AS HE ALWAYS FUCKING IS) and Swerts/Hewitt look far more comfortable at full-back than Audel and Amevor (Swerts really is a superb footballer).

Edwards is still going to struggle against better strikers and Smith shouldn't even have a job as a professional footballer let alone be near our first team but it's kind of slowly getting there, even with the inconsistency. Another night that showed we've always got a chance with players like Noble, Burke and McLeod - those 3 were so much better than anything Crawley had on the pitch it was laughable. We're fucked if McLeod gets injured though.

Carroll needs dropping too, no point in investing in a 'quality number 2 to push him' if he's going to keep his place despite being at fault for about 5 goals in 6 games now. His blunder for Crawley's goal is about as bad as it gets for a keeper with his experience.

Crawley were so bad it's almost beyond words. Fuck knows what the score would've been if we actually played well.

Notts County fans at the start of the season claiming Carroll is the best keeper in the league reminds me of when the Tranmere fans said similar about Koumas.

Yeah, no idea what has happened to him so far, perhaps he has no trust in the players directly in front of him and his brain (which is muddled most of the time anyway) is having to do more as our defence is all over the place.
Interesting couple of weeks ahead for him especially as Loach is more than a good enough replacement.

Nah, what weird logic. He's just been shite - he was great last season, he's been shite this season. He's either past it or just in a poor run of form. We'll see I guess. Loach deserves a go anyway - but he won't. I think Carroll is as close to undroppable as it gets as far as the players and coaching staff are concerned.

Poor Scot Bennett seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth.

He's playing an integral role in the heart of the defence for our table topping reserve team, alongside 17 year old Jordan Aghatsie.
