still second at the end of the month. You wonder how long our unbeaten record will last but we really shouldn't be losing to any of those teams (Exeter may be tricky since they're so good away)

I think we'll get past Dover in a replay, maybe even extra time.

Draw at Crawley, draw v Wycombe, beat Notts County then a draw against Cheltenham. 6 points.

How many goals are we going to score in November was my first thought, rather than how many points? Nobodygivesafuck (except CUFC) Cup aside, I'm guessing 3 or 4. On the basis that the opposition should manage at least 4, my forecast is

Dover - FA CUP (H) - Draw and lose replay
Scunthorpe -Nobodygivesafuck CUP (H) - Loss
Crawley (A) - Loss
Wycombe (H) - Draw
Notts County (A) - Draw
Cheltenham (H) - Draw

Fucking hell, i've never seen a team so convinced that they're going to draw a game.

With our goal scoring abilities and record, it's the best way of keeping the chin up..........and when we scrape/battle the odd win, you can kid yourself it's equivalent to 3 half decent results.

Since our 0-3 embarassment against Luton, back in August, none of our matches has had more than a single goal in it.....6 @ 2-1, 4 @ 1-0, 1 @1-1 and 1 @ 0-0.

Same points haul as October: 7 to keep us bumbling around the lower reaches of the play-off zone.

A further prediction is that I will get more results right than October (zero out of five).

Boreham Wood (A) - Our recent record against non-league teams in this is a shambles, but think we'll have enough here. Got a team much more suited to battling it out this year. Win

Sunderland (A) - I couldn't care less.

Blackpool (A) - I think we'll win here. Should have a decent following and we've been excellent on the road all season - a game where we can play on the counter against a disgruntled/non-existent home crowd are the perfect conditions. Win

Newport County (H) - If we have any kind of aspirations of finishing in the top seven then we need to start coming out with three points from games like this. Win.

Cambridge United (H) - Fuck it, if you can't beat them, join them. Draw.

Barnet (A) - Think we'll lose here although i'm not entirely sure why. Lose.

Seven points from four plus FA Cup progress would be alright, but really it needs to be more if we want to keep pace. Those two home games will say a lot about us, we should be taking six points really but I can't see it.

If there was ever to be a 'magic of the FA Cup' story in this first round, a non league team ending a league teams upbeaten start to the season would fit the bill perfectly.

I hope we take it seriously, then put the youth team out against Fleetwood.

It can't go on forever can it?

I have a feeling we will lose at Crewe and win the other 3 league games. FA Cup it would be nice to try to get to Round 3 but I'm not overly fussed.

Forever the optimist Dickie!

Still angry about Saturday. If we put in a decent performance and a more positive attitude towards it instead of 6 defenders in the starting line up then I might feel good again. Murray has got to change his home form, Fail to get at least 4 points from our 2 home games and he has to go, Although with our home form this season I'd be telling him 6 or cya!

You up for the game this weekend?

Fair enough, it does seem as if you lot need a good boot up the behind to get into gear this season. No I'm not making the trip, moving house so a bit skint and went to Newport the other day. Think we will make a few changes but still look to progress. We could really do with a good third round tie!

Through in extra time against Dover was spot on. Predicted 6 points, we got 9. Good month for us.
