Got to be looking to pick wins up in your home games so as with any other opposition that comes to BP I expect us to go for the win.

Baxter started his first game at weekend so hopefully he is getting there. Performances are still questioned but results are all that matter.

Only questionmark for me is if surridg starts. Obviously not fit this weekend but would like to see him start ahead of Baxter and Baxter drop deeper

Comedy defending comes to BP. I'm still away so I will not be.

We've had some good results against the Latics since we got into the football league but I would rate our chances of one in this game as very poor but I would be happy if we got one. It would help if we played a settled midfield. Club captain Jimmy Smith played his first game v Bury after injury so I would expect him to start, but not finish. Then your guess is as good as mine for who partners him or if we play two or three across the middle.

Palmer up front as he has scored five goals this season with Morais and Nathaniel-Grant providing the ammunition from out wide.

In defence of our defence....I have none.

Forgot Freddie mercury plays for your lot. Is his still as hot and cold as ever? Cracking player on his day but they don't come often enough

Who is Freddie Mercury? Morais I'm guessing. If so then yes, hot and cold but a bit more quality than the rest of the team.

Kewell seems to be leaving for Notts County and the tea lady will have some better ideas of how to organise a defence than him. Seriously, I've no idea who will be in charge but one if the senior pros such as Bulman or Vincelot I would expect both are defensively minded so I'm hoping for some better defending.

Looking forward to my 3rd BP visit. Tha last was when you'd started putting that new stand up.
There won't be many of us, but we should make a bit of noise. (which isn't always the case)
Jimmy Smith and Morais in joint charge of the team.

Nice one. Yeah, I quite like how BP looks these days, a good old hodgepodge of a football stadium. The weather has picked up, should be a good day for it. Enjoy your day!

Not a big fan of the new stand myself. Ok from the outside but too much glass and cladding. It's been built with no thought to the aesthetics pitch side. Purely for revenue purposes. Wouldn't have cost that much to do summat a bit better than a mass wall of grey

Well deserved win even if Crawley missed a penalty. They were absolutely shite - surely you were better than that under Kewell (I know they lost too)?

That big lad up top for you - Palmer? - wow, he’s atrocious.

Typical latics really. Dominate possession and look the better team but create very little. Think that's going.to be the story of our season but as long as we keep converting the few chances we are creating we should be ok.

Crawley were playing for a point from the get go. Cheap tactics got the better of a poor referee and it was the right result in the end, although we made hard work of it.

Think Crawley are the standard type team in this division So six games in and a good start even though we not been great think we will be at least play off contenders and poss automatic Newport next week a promotion 6pointer can’t remember the last time we had one of those

Calm down. I’m sure the opposition will improve because so far from what I’ve seen, with the exception of Franchise, the quality in this division is absolutely tragic.

If Clarke played against mk we won that game. There was nothing between the two teams except we lacked experience at the back. And that was with half our first choice out

Far to early to be thinking about promotion. Om encouraged by the fact that we are still picking up results despite playing crap , however we have had a generous opening fixture list (no disrespect to the teams we have faced). If we are still in the play offs in ten games time, then I'll get excited.

If we are still in the play offs in 40 games time then I'll get excited.

Until then we can all enjoy being top half for a change

I just watched the highlights and they show just how poor our defence has become. Not meaning to belittle Oldham but another league two side should not be able to open our defence up like that but you are the third who have managed it this season!

Missed tackles, players out if position and failures to mark are the defining features this season. I just think we have done all our defensive work on how to pass the ball across the back and none of the basics. Whoever the new boss is he will have a lot of on the training ground to fix the issues.
