Well, I would like us to field the same XI as per last week. Playing with wing-backs really does seem to suit our style of play.

However, I feel we'll try and accommodate Billy Clarke where possible, meaning starting with a diamond-like formation.

GK: Colin Doyle

RB: Tony McMahon
CB: Rory McArdle
CB: KNP (Killgallon if fit)
LB: James Meredith

DCM: Romain Vincelot
DCM: Timotheé Dieng

RCM: Mark Marshall
CAM: Billy Clarke
LCM: Nicky Law

ST: Jordi Hiwula

Means dropping Josh Cullen, not sure that'll work. Oh fuck knows, haven't a clue what McCall will do........

MUST WIN !!!!

Is police leave being cancelled to cope with the many thousands of Bradford fans manking the journey?

It'll be another scruffy game no doubt but I really do fear nobody in this league. It's shite. Now we have a manager with tactics other than "must not conceded at all costs regardless of the fact you need to score to win", we can beat anyone.

Don't get me wrong we are still shite, but we don't conceded many and have found a knack of using set pieces as our way to goal. We are far from the finished article - and I don't think most of the squad have it in them to be the finished article- but we have found an ugly way that suits

Banter. Huddersfield are at Rochdale in the cup at same time so should be interesting.

I reckon we will have about 65% possession and 20 shots but only score 1 goal and then concede with Oldham's only chance. As it happens every game.

hehehehe. You guys are best of buds right. Know a few Huddersfields lads from the old days, and they always have fond words about your meetings

I don't mind Town that much, everyone who is not a Leeds fan in West Yorkshire hates Leeds more. Usually games between us and them are peaceful but might be different with a load of pissed up lads on the train.

At least you can have a conversation about football with some of the Town fans that doesn't involve a long string of grunts and swear words like the Leeds lot.

True, was thinking more of the 1980's and early 90's though, take Leeds out of the equation, and it's both your next biggest local derby, and everyone hates Leeds (not as much as the plastic mancs) :)

As they like pointing out we never play Leeds so Huddersfield was a big derby. Although Town fans have started saying they'll never play us again as well now...

The lads I know said as much to me a couple of weeks ago, I just laughed as usual as joking aside, they can't believe how well they have done, and would prefer Leeds staying down, you and Sheff Utd coming up. They want us to stay down as they hate playing us, but we have a bit history with them

A game we 'should' win, near the top vs near the bottom, can't see it happening though - fancy a repeat of the 1-1 earlier this season like above, have all the ball, do knack all with it and conceed from a free kick only to chase it in the second half and carry on our 'draw specialist' tag

How's dieng doing with your lot? Presumably if he is in your starting line up he ain't too shabby?

Never really got a shout with us but deserved a better run. Good luck to him

I like him, defines box to box midfielder, runs all day, can't knock him so far

I started a thread this week slagging off the standard of this league. Bradford are far and away the best team I've seen at boundary park this season.

By no means world beaters but the first team I can honestly say deserved the three points, and not because we were shite either. We just couldn't get near you

More about being a well organised unit. Our goal was fluke. Couldn't see why our players were so outraged by your second was too far away. What went on there?

Think they thought McArdle was offside? Or maybe a foul on Ripley.

Game was much like the one earlier this season at VP although I thought Oldham defended much better that day. Today we should have had a few. Oldham still in it up til the 90th though because we didn't take our chances.

At least we'd get something of you for Wyke, not like the last time we gave away a good striker to you that was for free. What was his name again? Ah yes now I remember, it was Nahki Wells and how much did you sell him for? :ffs::ffs:

He was rotting in your reserves when we took him wasn't he, not like you did much to develop him.
