In 2 minds whether or not to go to this one. I've not missed one yet so I want to but it's always a routine 3-0 home win. It would be great to go here and get something with our form on the road but we've not picked up 3 points against any top 12 side all season so if we manage to go to 3rd and do then I might believe we will finish in the top 5.

Expect Green to come straight back into the side to replace Westcarr.

3-1 to Oxford is my prediction.

Great result. Would have taken that before KO.

Agreed a very good point interesting enough we are now on the same points as we finished last season on.

Tremendous achievement and in hindsight we were so lucky as we were diabolical last year.

Adam Murray has really done a great job.

An excellent point at an Oxford side who've done well recently, we won't get into the top 3 but a top 7 finish possible.

It's nice to know we've stood up to Oxford In 2 games and done well, it's nice we got the point the way we did it, sure to irritate them to hell

Almost as good as not bothering scoring it at all. Perhaps Thomas should have missed and saved us all the indignity of its awfulness.

Nah, I love a shite goal, me. Almost booed McAnuff's worldie at the weekend - much prefer one with comedy defending and a scuffed finish.

We probably didn't deserve a draw at Field Mill and I feel like it was our turn to throw away points here. In retrospect, a shame we couldn't have split wins and each ended up with a point more.

Mansfield played like Bristol Rovers with an inferiority complex. Very organised, defensively good, the best set pieces I've seen at this level since Bradford's corners got them to a league cup final. Let themselves down with a lack of ambition and would have been very happy with their draw (booked for time wasting on 28 minutes). The goals meant it wasn't too bad, but 3 vs 5 could be so much better.

We look to be very much set for our usual wobble. Lots of clamouring for a change in goalkeepers amongst our supporters. I think we need to take more shots from distance, attack faster when we are out wide and play more direct passes to Roofe and Hylton in between the lines of the penalty box. I liked Ismail, think he has a good cross.

Next up for me is Northampton. Think both sets of fans could have done a little better today. Good luck to Mansfield until we meet again.

Fair play to mansfield, certainly didn't expect them to do as well as they are.

Although I guess the table is misleading as Carlisle and accrington have 5 games in hand.

We are in a bit of a false position simply by playing so many more games than most of those around us, so 4th is a bit misleading. However, we're a work in progress and would have snatched your hand off and given you back your watch for a point before kick off, so we're happy tonight and still have an eye on making up the play off numbers in May.

Oxford will go up easily enough, they're going through one of those spells that most promotion chasing sides do.

We were in 5th and on a roll before the floods came along and screwed us over, I don't know about Accrington but all our games in hand are pushed right up together as we have to play something like 8 games in 4 weeks, so our players might be very tired after it, depends on how fit they are.

I don't think Mansfield should worry too much about Accrington catching them as we got a relatively easy win against them and they did look very ordinary. I think they've had their fun hanging around in the play offs. Normal order will soon be restored.

It's interesting to read your thoughts and don't get me wrong, I understand being satisfied with a point after all is said and done. False position or not.

The sight of Scott Shearer sinking to his knees, arms aloft, eyes raised to the heavens in ecstasy at the triumph of a point/draw against us just suggests you overrated us a bit. We drew with Yeovil.

I think it's probably my own personal view of things though. One of the things I like about this level is that I never find myself hoping for a draw before a game has started. It's the advantage of being without global brands, champions league money or uneven TV money. That's true for teams that are better than us, and for teams with a bigger budget. I'd have liked to see you have more of a go at 0-0/1-1.

Just setting us up for a fall there next week. Well done! :bravo:

I think they'll be missing Windass. He'll obv make a difference for them.
Until they played us their form was decent. Ruling out Accrington based on one match is very premature.

I'll say whatever I want about a team who we have proved to be better than!

Yeah well they've played the same amount of games as us and have 3 more points than us.

Accrington are one of the best teams I have seen this season. I'm backing them for playoffs 100%.

Accrington are the best side I've seen this season. Everything goes through Windass so they need him on the pitch at all costs, but if they have him for 80%+ of their games they'll cruise into the top seven.

I think if we play as well as we've done recently we'll be fine, sounds we more than deserved the point and could well have been 3 had we taken chances in the first half - though Oxford came on strong in the 2nd half

10 points from the last 12, other sides have a few games in hand (a months worth in accringtons case) but we're making decent progress

Not worried about teams with games in hand. You've got to win them all first. I think if we can pick 8/9 points out of our next 4 (Plymouth A, Dagenham, H Newport A, Yeovil H) then we can really start to think about the Play Offs this season.

Over the moon with a point last night as from Oxford and Plymouth I expected nothing.

Got to laugh at oxfords forum though, Oxford fans of all calling the opposition dirty, cheats and pressuring the ref.

Had the dictionary not been invented, I'd have used that as the definition of hypocracy
