PayPal help

Someone agreed to buy something off me and pay via PayPal, however when they try and pay me apparently they get a message of 'recipient doesn't accept payments through this funding source'. Anyone know how to resolve this? I don't often use paypal so trying to change my settings etc I don't fully understand.

Send the person who is wanting to send you money and invoice which should allow them to make a payment. Plus, are they trying to pay with Paypal balance rather than a debit card? That might be the problem.

Think they said they were trying to pay by card, I'll try the invoice thing though, thanks.

PayPal have just rolled out a quick link thing you can send out to get payments.

Set it up with your name and you can send a link that would look summat like PayPal.com/hodge/20 if you're invoicing for 20 quid.

Ain't got a link as I'm on me phone but Google it. Useful if you're gonna be accepting more payments later.

Beware of scam emails from PayPal just now. I got an email asking for my details again the other day saying a payment of mine had been refused. I have bought a lot of stuff online in the last week but only used my card so it looked fishy to me especially since I logged into my PayPal account on another browser and everything was fine.
