I actually think we're back "on the groove now". We've strengthened the squad and have options all over the pitch, I'm hoping the recent wake up call(s) have kicked any complacency out of the team,
Oh and you're not Walsall, so 2-0 for the Blades
Have to agree.
The great thing for Blades is that we've strengthened in the JTW and the bench is so strong, full of players good enough and expecting to be in our first team.
Peterboro are known for being inconsistent, the Doctor Jekyll or Mr Hyde team of league 1, so which team will turn up? No one knows but I expect them to play attacking football. We struggle more against the negative, cagey teams that defend in numbers then try to hit us on a quick counter attack (Fleetwood were brilliant at it the other week when they deservedly beat us).
Peterboro's style suits us down to the ground.
Expect a lot of goals
Posh 1 or maybe even 2
Blades 3 or maybe even 4
If the good Posh turn up, we could win quite easily.
If the horrendous Posh turn up, we will get hammered.
Who knows, really?
It's a game where the likes of Maddison normally pop up with something special, so here's hoping again.
With no Bostwick, I'm a lot more confident in our defence keeping out more too.
Good luck Sheffield United
We're very hit and miss. Sometimes we really are unplayable and sometimes we really are unwatchable. I think we'll be defeated heavily on the day. McCann will play some bizarre tactic to try and counter Sheff Utd and will backfire massively as usual. Problem is we just never regularly look like scoring and a fat dwarf from St Albans isn't the answer.
You are definitely one of the best teams to come to BL this season.
Almost every team gives us full respect at Bramall Lane and sits back defending deep but Posh seemed to throw tactics out of the window and they went for it that day.
Although we won 1-0 it was a really entertaining game with chances at both ends. Many Blades that day were impressed that Posh were so postive and attack minded.
We're hoping you'll still be the same because we've improved since that match. If given space we will create loads of chances.
I expect a high scoring game and wouldn't be surprised if Posh win but I also wouldn't be surprised if we win 5-3.
Come on the unplayable good Posh, not the unwatchable horrendous one
It's cold and it's wet. It also snowed a little bit but I can't see the game being called off.
As if Oldham away this year being postponed for a postage stamp of ice was bad enough, we were in Rochdale and had to settle for three pints in the Cemetery Inn.
Think Sheff United have the title in the bag now, they're gonna tear us apart next week.
The first half was entertaining for a 0-0. The second half came down to McCann's bizarre substitutions.. Taking off our best player and putting a centre mid on the wing? Ridiculous. Sheffield United weren't the greatest side in the world and I thought they looked really small.
Sheffeld United fans travelled in great numbers but until they scored were utterly silent. Nothing compared to Wednesday fans.
