WATFORD
Copied from our friends in the Championship and League One..

For us it has to be between Sebastian Prödl and Nordin Amrabat - both hardly regulars last season but really have performed on a very consistent basis this time.

One has pretty much held our defence together whilst the other seems to be our only real attacking threat at the moment - will be a big miss if selected for the African Nations Cup.

Only real contender is Michail Antonio. Pretty much everyone else has been below par for most of the season.

Only one who's close to him has been Kouyate, but with switching to a back three and him needing to drop back, it really limits his effect on the game - great box to box central player who i hope we can shift back into midfield asap.

Tom Heaton, though a bit rusty since his injury and Michael Keane who has been exceptional.

If you were to ask most of our fans though they'd probably go for Steven Defour. I think just because he has a foreign name and occasionally does something different with the ball than the others. Overall though his contribution is nothing more than one or two passes or bit's of skill a game. Largely surrounded by running around a lot chasing shadows and passing backwards or sideways.

Jordan Pickford just ahead of Defoe.
Defoe's goals have been important, however some of Pickford's performances and saves have kept us in games and won us matches, Bournemouth and Leicester spring to mind.

Probably Zlatan, with De Gea second.
De Gea's not even in the mix this season, he's barely been called upon.

Zlatan is really starting to come into his own and could end up with it at the end of the season but so far I'd give it to Herrera. Great to see Mourinho recognize his value, he was underused by lvg, his tenacity in midfield makes him a key player for us.

Antonio Valencia has also been great.
