Good news for us is The Beast is back for this game but maybe not Paul Hayes. We have won our last visits so it's a happy hunting ground. No love lost between the two managers so there could be more action in the dugout than on the pitch.:box:  Won our last 6 league games only conceding 1 goal so we are the form team but Plymouth are top so a point wouldn't be a bad result
Shit i meant to put won our last 5 visits,i started on the Christmas booze early .

I fancy Wycombe to get a result here. 1-0 with a 15th minute goal and then 75 minutes of time wasting.

The last time I saw them at Home Park Wycombe started the time wasting before they even scored in about the fifth minute. It was surreal.

Ah but had our 46 year old goalkeeping coach in goal for 80 minutes after our keeper went off injured and EVERY League 2 side would do the same.

This is a strange one, in truth Ainsworth teams are never a big draw in themselves. One of our party went to his last ever game last Boxing Day. I was not sure he would make it, and it was a dire victory against Yeovil, but he got there and enjoyed it and we discussed how poor we were. This year his daughter, son and three grandchildren will be there (the six year old is going to his first match ever). So as I say we'll have odd feelings.

Paul Hayes out injured and Gary Thompson drops to bench with Akinfenwa up front with Kashket.

Game delayed until 3-15 as loads of Plymouth fans trying to buy Liverpool cup tickets and only one turnstile open for them and Wycombe fans, the queue is up to outside the car park.

Plymouth fans booing Harriman while being carried off on a stretcher, they did the same last season when our keeper was carried of after 13 minutes last season. A minute after The Beast hits a post Plymouth take the lead 2-1.

Sounds like a decent game with plenty of chances, sorry I'm missing it (although not sorry to have not schlepped all the way west, not a fun journey).

Very welcome late goal. Gets us out of jail a little bit.

Credible point away to the (former :bg:) league leaders. Good tenacity to stick in there for the draw after going 3-1 down. I can (almost) feel some optimism sneaking in - somebody sedate me.

well done Argyle for not losing. And about 2 thousand fans turned away because of our bizarre ticketing arrangements. Potentially big club ran like a village operation. Said as much many times.
