Mowbray guaranteed to start 3 at the back again, even though every time we play that we get ruined. Need a simple 4-4-2 for 90 minutes to get anything out of this; failed to capitalise on Wigan and Shrewsbury losing yesterday, need to win this to keep up.

Head says 2-1 Pompey, heart says 2-1 Rovers.

Much needed win for us on Saturday.

We don't have a great record against the better teams in this division this season. However, Rovers seem to be having a bit of a wobble and it's a Tuesday under the lights. We have a chance, but I'll go for a 1-1.

Yeah our record against the top sides doesn't fill me with confidence, and despite the win on Saturday our performance was pretty average. Expecting a night of moans and groans with the result being a tight 0-1.. but hoping for 2-1 Pompey. Chaplin to start, I hope too!

I think Jackett is going to go for it tonight. Looks like Chaplin and Pitman will start. Hopefully after his last minute winner chaplin will be buzzing. Just pray we don't give the ball away as cheaply as we did at Ewood Park. All the goals we very avoidable

Tough game that. You could see Blackburn were generally a notch above us but I think we did enough to merit the draw..

Just goes to show we aren’t quite there yet. Playoffs are still in reach but I can’t see it really.. next season is the one to watch.

Couldn't have really complained with a draw to be honest, there wasn't much between the sides. Vital win though, only 1 point between the top 3 now.

Yes, the game was finely balanced for a while in the second half. Rovers came on strong though for the period leading up to the goal and it wasn't a huge surprise when it went in.

I agree with Bucket - we'll do no more than flirt with the play-offs this season. We'll probably finish somewhere around 10th, which is ok. Our midfield just isn't strong enough for us to finish any higher this season imho.
