The generally agreed upon BIGGEST CLUBS in the division square off at Fratton Park this afternoon.

We desperately need to get back to winning ways, the seeds of division have already started to sow unfortunately and we really need to get on and solidify ourselves in the playoffs, not even concerned about automatics anymore.

Portsmouth seem to have had a bit of an up turn in form since we last played them where they we teetering on the edge of sacking the manager, so I think we are going to struggle with them.

I've got no idea who we we are going to play, depends if Still thinks we need a shake up or not. Unfortunately I think we are going to go very negative and play for a 0-0, that seems our MO at away games as especially now we are on a poor run and looking to stop a rot.

I'd sort of like to see Pelly "week away" Ruddock on the bench to check if he is actually still amongst the land of the living.

0-0 for me and that's me trying to be optimistic.

Could be an intersting clash of fans today. Especially after Pompey and Luton fans clashed at Waterloo after Luton's visit to Wimbledon a few weeks back.
I hope the headlines about this game are all the right ones, and not about the lunatic fringe that have attached themselves to each club.

Can see Luton getting back to winning ways today. Away win.

I bloody hope there isn't any stupidity, if there is I must admit I'll be very disenchanted with our fans and the club.

The more I look on places like outlaws the more I think i just don't want to be associated with a lot of people who support the club.

Had hoped after last season we would past such idiocy.

I'm guessing you didn't hear Still's press conference this week then? His season could well be over.

All 2,700 tickets went to season ticket holders, so I'm sure that element will be minimal, if at all.
Besides, has that "element" really been that apparent in recent seasons?

Its now our never for Luton - we can't play for draws on the road anymore if we're going to get into the top 3. I do like the noises that have been coming out of the club this week; could be the wrong time for Portsmouth to play us - against a wounded animal.

Nah didn't hear the press conference, been pretty disinterested with everything football related this week to be honest.

Can't seem to motivate myself this week for this and given their wasn't even a match thread for this until today seems others are feeling the same!

Matt Tubbs 1-0 Luton

About the 50th goal he's scored against us.

Portsmouth 2-0 Luton - Ryan Taylor

Against the run of play again. Really not getting anything going our way at the moment.

Start the second half brilliantly, great pace and tempo only to concede again. Just can't get anything our way at the moment.

Second half played pretty well I thought, the Pompey goal was hugely against the run of play.

Having said that our final ball at times was woefully poor and I felt Cullens movement was very poor which added to it. When we did get the ball in front of goal it never fell for us, cleared off the line, blocked, one touch too many, you name it really.

Oduwa was really bright and caused issues, mich better than Whalley whose contribution was shit crossing and shanking it out of play. The amount of times Drury gave it away was embarassing, needs to have a look at himself.

Our second goal was definitely against the run of play given how Luton pinned us back in our own half for a good 10 minutes at the start of the second half.

Other than that, our defence weren't too troubled and Luton were even worse than us at keeping the ball. Considering they're in the play-offs, I was expecting much better from them. Our strikers were the difference overall.

Frustrating yet again, Pompey had two half chances and scored both. We had a few half chances and scored none, created nothing clear cut once again though. Controlled chunks of the game but how much of that was down to us being good and Pompey being ahead and just letting us have the ball as they knew we had no threat....

Today marked a first for me though: actually saw a linesman give offside direct from a throw-in. There's bad decisions and there's just not knowing basic rules.

I only wish I could find it within myself to blame the result on the officials though. We just weren't good enough. Maybe didn't deserve to lose but didn't deserve to win as we created bugger all once again, urgh.

Do you now consider yourself out of the race for the automatics? Or still have a chance?

You should know by next sat at 5pm. If u win two in a week and others lose then u are back in imo.

Well out of it right now to be honest. Our form is terrible. If we win the next two I will be flabbergasted.
