This one's a bugger.

OK we're at home but they're on a of string good results after a bad start. Nasty little journey to the freezing north east though. Both on the back of good results at the weekend, so could go either way。

So, I'll rely on blind faith and say we'll take this 2-1.

If we're not taken in by the Rakishinho decoy, maybe we will gain our first away point or points of the season.

Three away games out of four isn't what you need when you have an away record of played six - lost six. If we don't break that run tomorrow, then we're unlikely to in the following two trips, so we need to take this opportunity.

Hope Togwell and Champion get a chance together as Weston looks completely deviod of confidence.

Behave with this wise old head stuff, you cheeky 50 year old bugger.

I've revised it to 2-0 Paynter and Woods to notch.

I look younger ...I can easily pass for 49 !.....I think we'll keep a clean sheet again ...that Luton fella looks handy , I won't mention his name , look what happened last time we lent some one then signed him !

49 clem maybe.....:gr:

Anyway, I'll do the calm collected thing tomorrow, make coffee, go out on the balcony for a smoke and then turn on Sky Sports and swear for two hours, probably. :dis:

Slightly strange line up for us,
No recognised left sided midfielder and two holding midfielders suggests we arent going to pose much of a threat going forwards

Point away from home, definitely take that.

Good point, at a tricky long away Tuesday nighter.

Apparently the 'hangers keeper had a worldie of a game.

Was he given MOM?
Got the impression our keeper did pretty well and both sides should've had 2-3.

I think he was given MOM. From the ever enthusiastic Barnet Bee Twitter account Stephens was superb between the pegs for us.
Anyway onwards to Oxford, where I don't believe we have ever won.

We've never beaten Oxford Utd in any competitive fixture, be it home or away!

Only managed to stop them scoring once as well... and that was the game they brought only a black kit which clashed with our home kit so they had to play in our orange away shirts.

Good point to stop the rot away from home.

2 in 2 for Akinde as well which is good news. We'll need him to keep scoring regularly if we are to stay clear of the drop zone and start to aim slightly higher up the table..

No,no. I listened to the first half and a bit of the second so it was 1-0 when I went home and when I looked this morning I wasn't too disappointed. 3 points away and one at home, well if it had been the other way round nobody would have complained eh?

We've found or level , picking up points from lower half teams , unlike last year , we're not miles away though , 2 or 3 midfielders and we're there , I hope the Wycombe winger starts Saturday

Sounds like Michael Nelson and the Barnet fans generally got a good reception from the Poolies.
Nelson's family and his youth football team boosted the away crowd, which was nice.
