Dave Jones first home game and one we really need to win, next four after this are Mansfield (A) Luton (A) Plymouth (H) and Colchester (A) could find ourselves in the bottom two by the end of February.

Crap transfer window for us, three first teamers sold and two kids brought in on loan, both strikers to go with the other 22 strikers currently on our books.

Thomas is back and must start and I'd even start that Boro keeper instead of Bartlett.

Optimistic 2-1 win, please.

We had a flurry of signings on deadline day, Kabongo Tshimanga, Jean-Louis Akra Akpro and Owain Jones to add to Brandon Goodship, Tom James and Shayon Harrison earlier in the month.

Still, Pools is a long way and despite our in against Argyle we're not in good form so I can't see anything better than a draw. Boring 0-0.

One of those kids did score a wondergoal against you last year.

To be fair it does sound like the lad can play a bit, we just have a habit of loaning players and then never playing them.
It happened very last minute, with seconds to spare I believe, which might suggest there are strings with this - he plays. He has been on the bench for us most of the season and come on a few times for ten minutes, so not really had a chance. My suspicion is that he is Conference level, but hopefully given time he will prove himself. We'd love him to help you beat some of our rivals.

I see Rooney played, how did he do?

Did well in a pretty drab match, put himself about and seems to be a bit of a constant pest, probably should've got himself on the score sheet, was put through rounded the keeper but had his shot blocked. Promising start, hopefully he keeps it up.

It was so last minute that the move went through at our ground after Plymouth played us last Tuesday. They borrowed one of our offices (and some wifi and a fax machine presumably).
