Another tough game. We have a mixed record at London Road. One of my first away games was a 4-1 win there back in '99. Lucas Neill and Tim Cahill were on the scoresheet, IIRC.
Point would do me here, though.

2-2 again.

What a nightmare! Our heads seem to have completely gone. Be fortunate to keep this down to four.

That was unexpected.

We were brilliant, some of the best football I've seen us play and Millwall just couldn't cope with it. Outstanding.

Harris has come out and basically accused half of our squad of not having the requisite desire to play football for us. Had a big swipe at agents and says he will field a side on Saturday that 'wants to play for the club'. Sounds like stuff going on off the field contributed to our performance this evening.

Funny to me how both of us played so well on Saturday and clearly so badly tonight.

Hell of a result for Peterborough.

Nature of the football league, I suppose. Sounds like unusual circumstances on our end also contributed, also.

That was honestly one of our best performances in the 20 odd years I've been watching Posh.

Every player was outstanding but Paul Taylor was virtually unplayable. We really could have scored 10 if we wanted to.

Millwall were my tips for the title and even though they were extremely poor that hasn't changed. Not one team in this league could have matched us tonight.

After the disappointment of Saturday, it's great to get back on track and after being adamant we wouldn't get near the play offs on Saturday, if we carry on playing like that, we could make a serious run for the title.

Sounds like Gwion has done well for you so far. Really pleased for him (and you for a purchase from us finally working out for you).

Perhaps the Gregory saga?
Is Harris annoyed at players having their heads turned and attention distracted elsewhere by agents?
Does seem a strange situation as I don't think anyone really saw that result/performance coming.

NH: "Listen, my players were crap, Peterborough were excellent." #Millwall

NH: "Some of my players I think have a little bit of an inflated opinion of themselves at present." #Millwall

NH: "It either changes or they will have to find a new club." #Millwall

This is interesting from NH: "I won’t accept that performance. I won’t accept agents ringing me making demands." #Millwall

NH: "I’ll pick a team on Saturday of players that are committed to playing for this club, players that I believe in..." #Millwall

Scathing. My immediate thought was Gregory's agent trying to force more money out of the club knowing that there is Championship interest.

Millwall bloke at work seems to think it's Archer with an ego but not sure what he's basing that on and it seems like Harris is talking about more than one player.

Interesting.

Harris says it's not the forward players, so probably Archer.

Either way, troubling comments. I think also very unprofessional of Harris to lose his cool like that and make that information public. He has made himself look very weak. It was one bad result, we don't need our manager overreacting more than the fans do.

Puts massive pressure on him and the team Saturday now. If we lose, and lose heavily it'll look like he's lost the dressing room after those comments. In the full interview he does make clear that 'his strikers' are exempt from the criticism so clearly not aimed at Gregory. I'd guess Archer is the most likely culprit for the agent stuff as I can't see anyone else being in a position to make any demands.

Good to see Tom Nichols starting to score a few. Knew he would do well for you.

3 assists last night as well!

Posh fans have a habit of writing off anyone who does not hit Gayle/Assombalonga/CMS levels straight away, and despite his injury which only limited him to 4 appearances, Nichols was a victim of that.

It's clear the boy has talent so I hope he continues to shut our morons up.
