Another tough fixture against an inform side to end a month where we haven't yet picked up a point.

Three losses in a row after this, Reading have won their last four without even conceding, and Birmingham excluded in our recent games we've barely carved out a handful of chances in them.

Fielding
Little, Flint, Magnusson, Bryan
Reid, Pack
Paterson, Tomlin, O'Dowda
Abraham

Bench: Moore, Golbourne, Brownhill, Freeman, O'Neil, Engvall, Wilbraham.
Can see us taking a drubbing here, and there'll be a meltdown from a lot of fans when it happens.

Reading 3-0 Bristol City.

McCleary, Kermogant (2).

We will lose. Anyway, more importantly it seems the pub next to the train station is closed, any Reading fans know where we will be able to drink pre-match?

I think we'll draw. We may have won four in a row without conceding, but the highest placed side we played are 18th.

Probably stick with the same team that played Burton.

Three Guineas being closed isn't great as it is the only dedicated away pub in Reading, without many other options. Most pubs in Reading town centre will be home fans only, but i'm sure that some will advertise themselves as away friendly on the day given the amount of fans bringing. If you're not going direct by train, then The World Turned Upside Down and the bar inside Holiday Inn are only 10 minute walk from stadium and where most away fans go if they aren't going into town. I'm sure the other Reading fans on here can provide better info on pubs in the town..

When did the Guineas close? Can imagine that has caused chaos for TVP.

Don't think you'll find anywhere else that is away friendly in town, maybe The Greyfriar or the Irish boozer next to it - both are downhill when you head out the station.

I remember a few years ago City got in a bit of trouble trying to drink in the Queens.... I'd avoid that.

Is the pub next to the hotel relatively near the ground open again? Went to go in there last year and ended up drinking Latte in the hotel.

Went to the Swan? Last season. Nice little pub full of City but a hell of a way from the ground.

Onto this game though, I hope we get a result. For no reason at all, I've never particularly liked Reading.

Got a feeling this could be a draw, could do with a result though really to keep in touch with the playoffs.

Never heard of this pub, any other 'ding know where it is? Other side of the M4 potentially?

Yeah its the other side of the M4. It's just off the A33 in Three Mile Cross. Never been in there though.

You'll do well to find many positives after a third consecutive loss....

City doing ok dispite the score. Not sure it was a penalty, but a good finish for their 2nd. We look dangerous going forward, but Tammy isn't really in the game, but Bobby looks dangerous; would like to see us get him on the ball really.

Reading fans pretty quiet, City fans making some good noise until the 2nd went in.

We're knocking on the door but I don't think it's going to come. One of those days.

So close, just not close enough. Thought a draw would've been a fair result to be fair, and Reading look a good side.

Don't think the subs helped today, Tomlin and Reid barely saw the ball after that.

Well fucked off at that.

Again, we are absolutely shocking defensively at full back, and Reading did all they needed to do inside the opening 19 minutes.

The first goal, well I hope that linesman loses his job, and second though was fucking abysmal. Bryan and Tomlin absolutely all over the place, then no-one in the middle tracking the runner.

We looked alright in the second half yeah, only because Reading sat back. They absolutely killed us in the first 19 minutes and then were good enough defensively to let us come at them, and our decision making in the final third was again fucking awful.

Three losses on the spin, and lose next week and I'm afraid that a few will begin to turn on LJ.

Not good enough lads.

Your manager is complaining about the decision being given by somebody who doesn't know the game.

Very true maybe but how many ex footballers are prepared to train and become officials...not many I suspect.

Just seen the highlights, that's a shocking dive. Whether there has been contact between him and Mags as they've crossed it didn't cause him to go down and he's thrown himself to the floor. Good finish for Reading's second and good assist, how deliberate with finding the right player I'm not sure but still good. How Bobby hasn't buried that header I don't know.

I was bang in line with the supposed ' penalty' and thought the ref was coming over to book the cheating git TBH. There was very slight contact but it looked to me like their bloke took a couple of steps, dangled his left leg out and threw himself to the ground. Magners was nowhere near him when he threw himself down.
I can take losing, I'm used to it as a City fan but I despise losing to a blatant dive.

Head of referees has apologised for 3 major mistakes made by his team:

1. Reading's penalty.
2. Our lack of penalty for a clear handball.
3. An incorrectly disallowed goal.

This game was a utter farce.
