RIP 56

Today marks the 39th anniversary of the tragic events at Valley Parade.

The good folk of Bradford and Lincoln unite spiritually today as we remember the poor souls who perished that day and the hundreds that were injured.

I was there that terrible day, and although I escaped unharmed physically, mentally it took me a while to get over it.

To this day, the awful scenes I witnessed are still very vivid.

RIP the 56. I don't have the words to add at the moment other than nobody should ever go to a football match and not come home. May them, and their families, be at peace.
