Yeah it’s a repeat not sure if he made the move in the very end but a decent lad, picked him up from Nuneaton, bags of pace and a good eye for goal. Scored a stunner against Bradford i recall.

Glovers failure to play him caused outrage at the time.

He was one of Adams’ poorer signings ( and there was plenty of competition). Think we actually paid a fee for him too. Any pace he once had not evident and he was mainly used as a full-back/wing-back.

We used him at full back but he had a lot of injuries which by the time he left had buggered him up.

He was absolutely rapid when with us before hand!

One of my fav players from that era, shame he was never able to last 90mins.

I was never a big fan of his. He was rapid (before various injuries took their toll) but seemed to have about 1 good game every 5 or 6. On his day he was an absolute handful, don't get me wrong, but just never put it together consistently. A little bit like Lewis Haldane.

Haldane was a funny one. Good player on his day; career virtually ended by a spider on the Vale training pictures which actually nearly killed him IIRC!

He was electric but was so fast that it was often to the detriment of his final ball. But even when he wasn't playing well he was always great at getting us up the pitch, especially away from home.
