Not only do we get one joyous match up in Portugal v Uruguay, but we also get this one, the battle of the underperformers.
France have stars all over the team, but they are yet to really produce. They qualified out of their group relatively easily. Ok, they never really fired on all cylinders, but they never looked in any danger of not getting through.
The same can't be said for Argentina, who scraped through thanks to a cracking finish from a CB. They were 8 minutes from going out, but got a lucky repreive. Can this be the spark they need to kick on, or was it simply delaying the inevitable?
Really looking forward to this one, whoever loses, I'll happily wave them out. Who are you rooting for?
