Boreham Wood v Chester
Braintree v Aldershot
Bromley v Gateshead
Dover v Barrow
FGR v York
Lincoln v Southport
North Ferriby v Torquay
Solihull v Guiseley
Super Sutton United v Macclesfield
Tranmere v Maidstone
Woking v Dagenham & Redbridge
Wrexham v Eastleigh

Some big games already this weekend. Tranmere's perfect start goes on the line against newly promoted Maidstone, who like their betters from last seasons Conference South seem to be adapting well to life in the higher tier
6th v 3rd (not that league positions mean much atm) at Gander Green Lane, as Sutton hope to make it a hat-trick of league victories against ex-Football League sides in a week.
You almost feel sorry for Bromley who have Gateshead this weekend, only days after Gateshead put 6 past York. Almost sorry, because no-one likes Bromley (sorry, trying to stoke the flames of El Suburbico)

Our current goal difference is +3, if it's still positive after this weekend I'll be happy, and tbh I expect that to just about happen. 3-1 Tranmere.

From the other games, it's the Guiseley v Solihull game that interests me most. If they're on the end of a Connie North double beating I think we can write Guiseley down in one of those relegation spots and that is good news for us, only 3 spots left to fill (probably only 2 after NFU's other results and considering how small they are)

If we lose, watch our forum turn from sunshine and happiness into a foaming piranha-infested death pit in seconds.

Our fans are a fickle bunch.

But seriously, another 2-0 win would leave me happy.

Garry Hill is a Daggers legend, we had some great times under him, especially in the FA Cup. Still, hope we smash the bastards.
Always disconcerting to see Garry Hill and John Still together. Like the Chuckle Brothers reincarnated as ageing Essex bouncers.

Definite defeat. Dover may have lost a few players, but we don't travel well at all and our defence is decimated. 4-0 Dover.

Had this coming game as a big test but clearly something's up with York. Can't be arsed to register on their forum to find out what they think it is and given our steady improvement as the team clicks and gets to grip with the system hopeful for a steady win without too many scares. if we do maybe still not a repeat shocker for York though as we're still not creating freely, though happy to be proved wrong.

Will our new midfield loan signing Alex Purver be the missing piece to our jigsaw?

Our trip to Sutton will be a tough test. Hopefully the artificial pitch will suit our passing style but it at least gives us an excuse if we lose! If we are as creative as we were against Braintree and as clinical as we were against Southport then we should be winning, although I don't expect it to be quite as easy for us this time.

We beat Gateshead who beat them 6-1, so going by that they'll probably turn us over

That being said, feeling confident and if we can get an early goal I can see us winning 10-0. Need to start catching up with all those goals we haven't scored yet.

Be nice to see Yan and Clovis again. Wont be nice seeing Brodie again though.

Considering Gateshead beat them 6-1, what do you think of your chances?

We are lucky to be going to Braintree again before their pitch becomes a swamp, so that should suit our all new, total football style. But it all depends how many players we can put on the pitch after the kicking they took off the Bromley thugs Tuesday night. Spoke to a couple of t he lads yesterday, seems the main men are fit, hopefully the bruises on our wingers shins have gone, if we can put out the same side as against Wrexham we should beat them comfortably.

3-1 Shots with 320 travelling.

I'd like to think we'll pick up the points this weekend.

For the first time this season I fancy us to win on Saturday.

Dover 3 - 1 Barrow

Tough proposition for us tomorrow with the visit to the Impact of AFC Flyde fresh from a 6-0 mauling of Altrincham. This will be a real indicator as to where we stand in terms of the upper echelons of the table. Would gladly take a point.

I agree, I think we 'should' win and it's important we do with what looks a really tough run of fixtures in September. Interesting though, even at this stage of the season what the bottom four do, as it could spell serious trouble if even before the end of August a four, five point gap opens up

I think we'll ship another 3 v Borehamwood. I'll take that because we're doomed while Macca and Sharps are in charge and the sooner they're gone the better. My annoyance stems from the fact that deadwood like George, Chapell, Mahon, and Hudson are playing when 19 year-old blonde beast Sam Hughes can't even get on bench. I'm also not convinced that Durrell and Horwood should be playing as they don't seem fit. Our gates are 15% off the break even, we're a cacophony of defensive errors and I can only see gates shrinking further. Only missed a dozen games in 6 seasons, but will pick and choose this season. Btw I've a season ticket, but don't get excited about going under these clowns who are a continuation of the shite we got under the fake Burr.

If we take another pasting, the shit will seriously hit the fan. After Tuesday's horror show I think I'd even take a narrow loss and some signs that we're sorting out some of the serious problems with the side. I still think we've got a half decent team in there somewhere.

Looking forward to Woking tomorrow, cheap on the train and we *should* pick up a win. Although we thought that about Chester as well ;)

Wouldn't be surprised if York get thumped again tomorrow as well.

The stat of doom is that we've never won away under McNamara - not since last September with Russ Wilcox's band of merry men when we beat Newport 3-0.

Fancy us to win here but don't think Maidstone will be pushovers. Expecting another professional performance with a largely unchanged team.

Plenty of pace and creativity on bench with three wingers on there if we need something.

A resurgent Eastleigh having sacked Todd? Urgh.

Edit: Just seen they've brought in Ronnie Moore! Very resurgent

Would be delighted with the same as Tuesday, a completely ordinary performance in a 1-0 win.

They always do it, just because they want the new manager syndrome boost to ensure that they beat us.

Potential banana skin here... last year we lost against 3/4 promoted sides at home. 2-0 Rovers, or equally likely 0-1 Maidstone.

I'll take a draw whenever we play away. We're still a very inexperienced side so no gimmes for us. Hopefully the boys perform as they can and there will be no problem
