You were really good against us in that first half so is that happening each game and you just aren’t finishing your chances or was that a flash in the pan and have you been mainly shit?

We've got a muddled set-up, make costly mistakes every game and this is (on paper) the toughest test of the season thus far, I really don't see us getting much out of this game.

I'm skint so I can't afford to go or watch on iFollow. Finally a bit of luck comes my way.

If we go with Oliver up top it'll be another slog, but if we go with Cook then we may win. No idea with this team so far. We haven't been great in our two away games. Be nice to see how Cooke gets on.

1-1.

Draw or loss, it's all we ever do against Harrogate.

Cleveland police will be all over this match on Saturday after last season, gonna be a right fuck on in town before and after, might just swerve the beers all together, they some how managed to have the hump with 300 Wimbledon fans first home game.

Felt more confident in us beating Tranmere than I do Bradford, two upfront hopefully and a sneaky 1-0 win.

Be about 7 City fans there on Saturday going by Twitter. Everyone seems to be trying to selling their tickets haha.

What’s happening with Oliver? Seems to have had a rough start

He doesn't suit the 4-2-3-1 formation. He's always isolated and there's never anyone near him to benefit from his flick-ons. Our crossing and set pieces are massively lacking, so he's never going to be as effective anyway. Whereas with Cook, we tend to keep it on the deck and play better football. He'll probably come good if we switch to a different formation, which I hope we do because we're only four games in, and teams are quickly sussing us out.

Fair enough. Odd to sign him as someone to play up front on his own knowing his skillset.

Yeah they won’t get the best out of Oliver playing that way, we had to last season out of necessity as we didn’t find anyone competent enough to play alongside him, either needs tricky wingers creating chances or someone up top with him to create chances/space. Preferably both in my book.

I’ll be at Hartlepool, if you asked me yesterday before Colchester I would’ve gone with a 4-0 steam roller job off the back of how we played last Saturday, after another 97th minute loss my confidence is no where near.
I have a theory with Hughes that he struggles to get them going for the smaller sides, no crowds/atmosphere and the like, we’ll beat Hull, we’ll beat Sunderland preseason, we’ll beat FGR and Sutton and teams at the top last season, but we’ll get bummed 3-0 at Chesterfield or lose twice at Colchester 4-0 on aggregate in the space of a few months. On Saturday the atmosphere will be brilliant, the random bit of aggro from last March will add a bit of spice and I think that’ll suit us to not be as complacent as we have been.
Heart says 2-0 win, like Cas says we need to go with Cook, 442 maybe as the 4231 leaves too many isolated, saying that the squad should be good enough to get a win or at least a performance to leave us proud, maybe give Harratt a go and sack Angol off after his performance last night.

Quick jaunt up the A12 for Orient in what will be our biggest away attendance of the season. The Ewes might even break the magic 3,500 mark with our help.

Orient’s record at their soulless hellhole is dreadful, but I think they’re certs for the bottom 6 so I’d hope - and indeed expect - to see our unbeaten record extended.

Newport away. Their current home hasn't been a happy hunting ground for Rovers, we've nobody returning from the injury list, from the manager's post match interview sounds like we may even have added to it and outside the starting xi options are limited at present. The hosts seem to be in poor form so hope of coming back from South Wales with at least a point.

Expecting more of the same from us If we set up like we have every other game this season, with Umerah isolated up top, and the same midfield. We have no threat going forward whatsoever.

Was hoping we would have brought a forward in before Saturday but that doesn’t look likely.

Going from what Bradford fans have said about their team this season so far, it could be a horrific game to watch.

I’m going for a scrappy, ugly, 1-0 either way.

Top of the table Salford at home on Saturday, biggest question is whether they can fetch a three figure number of fans?

Harrogate feel like one of our main rivals, partly because they were always one of our shortest away trips and partly because we were promoted together - and they always do a number on us. Last year it was that tosser Kettle that was clearly in cahoots with them. I'll always bet on a Harrogate win against us - 0-1.

We have really only played well in the first half against you, and we did ok in the second half against a very poor Burton side in the cup. Away from home, we have been absolutely awful, and much though the majority of Dale fans have been understanding towards Stockdale, the rubbish he has served up, together with the baffling tactics and under use of substitutes has led to calls for him to go .

We also have a very inexperienced Board, and this will be a real test of their mettle. Get this decision wrong, or procrastinate in taking it, and we are as good as doomed.

We look a bit stretched defensively for our trip to Crewe. 2 right backs and 2 centre halves out at the minute, ended with 2 wing backs and Guthrie at centre half on Tuesday. Hopefully Max Dyche, son of Sean, gets a start alongside Guthrie as we look a lot better with a 4 at the back.

We were completely outplayed by Salford on Tuesday who in fairness look very good this season. Fancy them to go up in the autos. Our home form has been abysmal, 7 straight defeats in the league. JR needs to make some changes to the starting line-up and style of play for Saturday. Only slight plus from Tuesday was the debut of Moriah-Welsh on loan from Bournemouth who looked tidy, hopefuly he will get a start.
Heads up for any visiting fans this season - the indoor market has been refurbed and has a cracking selection of eateries. Market is next to the Tiny Rebel pub and about 2 mins from the train station on the way to Dave.

Sides often do from experience struggle with the pace, though the quality isn’t necessarily much better.

Also you’re not playing the dog & partridge every other week here

I think saturday will be a tough game, we’ve carried on last seasons home form into this with 2 wins from 2 and it’ll be interesting to see how stockport come at us, will they be more defensive after successive reverses away or think their best chance is to go for it.

Few injury worries for us with boateng possibly still missing and oates a worry upfront, though our midfield is strong and can score 5 without him tuesday, it would be interesting to see how we’d fair without oates.

Bugger to get to with the trains being on strike too.

it used to be like that with AFC Fylde - then the season we eventually beat them in the league we got promoted..... lump on us to go up if we ever beat Harrogate.

Ours was newport and we’re still both here.

We tend to beat them at home but lose away

Without Oates we will just have Bowery and Swan that’s really concerning for me. Akins Boateng and Hawkins sound all likely to miss out again.
