Top of the table FGR play host to Crawley, who last season won at TNL to hasten Mark Cooper's departure from the Cotswolds.

We’re invited back to the league 2 party with Dale at home.

They’ve started off poorly and we’ve started like a train so based on that I’ll say 0-1 Dale

As the stats above suggest we hardly ever beat Harrogate. It really would be nice to put one over them for once.

We have a hideous league record against Stevenage so not overly expecting much from this one! Include cup games mind it looks better but with two very tricky away games up now we could do with winning one.

Expect Stevenage to have most of the ball but probably a tight draw again.

The one time we did beat them in the league was one of the ugliest games have witnessed in a long time.

They’re always a difficult opponent and after getting a bit of a tonking midweek no doubt will want to prove a point against us. This Stevenage team certainly based on last time I saw seem to be have moved on from the Westley timeout and all other shithousery though which is smart when you have the likes of Lines in midfield.

I’m taking us to get that elusive goal at last here. For me Wilson and Proctor is the forward line if going with 2 up top. That’s the partnership which seems like it’s got the best understanding.

We never got to play our away game at Harrogate in our promotion season, but it probably would've all swung on that game. They're a much more settled squad than us but will have had a fortnight off - could work either way, as they'll be recouped but maybe a bit out of match practice.

My first away match since covid and they're technically our local rivals - don't think we've ever won there. Can see a defeat, so a draw would be decent.

No idea what to expect from Walsall, likewise most sides here. Does seem they're yet to gel so might be a good time to play them. We're also a work in progress but have had the benefit of a week on the training ground, even if our assistant left to join Everton last week.

Rovers at home.. We haven't scored yet, we don't look like scoring.

Should be a decent atmosphere at least, with Rovers selling out their allocation in a matter of days. Hopefully Nombe is back from isolation, and we can at least have a shot on target, as that would be an improvement.
At the back we at least look somewhat solid, with 3 clean sheets in 4 games.
Probably a 0-0 draw incoming.

I’ll take a jammy shithousing 1-0 ta. Don’t think I’ve ever seen us win at your ground. Which is odd as we have a decent record there. I must just be a bad omen at Sixfields and pick our shit games out.

Salford away for us. Based on not much, I’d say we’ll be a better away side this season.

Always good to get these fuckers beaten.

I know so little of Salford, their manager, playing staff etc. They have 0 representation on here. All I know is the Man United link. I suspect they are one of the better sides in the division so a tough game. Would be happy with a point but suspect we may lose this one.

Walsall have started slow and like Soup have no idea what to expect from them, still early days obv but weren't they fancied to do well this season after some decent signings?

We should have two strikers available to start on Saturday for the first time this season, Goodwin and one from Cullen/Olomola, that is unless we magic up another signing during the week, other than that I wouldn't change the team at all, would much rather keep the same back five and midfield three going forward for now, win lose or draw. Killip is still the worry for me but I'd keep him in for now.

Will finally be making the long trip north to Carlisle, always wanted to go but never been the right time, can't wait to tick this one off my list.

Still very early days so could be anything, though I would favour us slightly given our positive start, thought we looked very strong against an undoubtedly poor Exeter team last time out.

From here it seems Carlisle played well against a decent Vale side on Tuesday, thanks to Harrogate and covid we didn't have a fixture so potentially are better rested heading into Saturday.

If I had to predict I'd say a cagey 0-1 to the Os.

I'm surprised your club is selling our fans tickets for other places in the ground bar away end.

Yes, we need Nombe back and I hope he will play alongside Amond. Also, I am really hoping we will make at least one signing before the weekend.

I get the feeling this game will be cagey and one goal will settle it either way. On a plus side, other than the shit show at Orient, we’ve defended very well. We just need to tweak the system to support the front players. Optimistically, I will predict a 1-0 win.

Also, with Hartridge being back, we won't have to see Jonathan Grounds again.

Taking the Mrs to her first ever Cobblers game, what a glamour tie experiencing Rochdale at home. California to San Sixfields, expecting some liquid football and a 2-0 draw with a KFC perhaps after. She's a lucky lady.

We have started the season really well result wise without performances really being that great. Expecting that to continue here. That being said we seem to have a horrendous record against Rochdale in recent times but still fancy us to get the win here.

4/1 to win at Salford. Don't necessarily expect us to win but those odds are worth a dabble.

Difficult game away to Mansfield for us, last season their keeper chucked one on the net from a corner more of the same would be nice. Expecting a much harder Mansfield than last season though, play as we did against Stevenage and I’d back us to beat anyone but I don’t think that level of performance is sustainable, you have to be able to grind results out as we did against Oldham. We’ve created an average of 21 chances per game since Exeter on the opening day so more of the same would be nice.

We were crap the whole game v Hartlepool. Crap for the first 30 minutes and last 10 v Gillingham and Salford. If we can just restrict the poor periods of the game we have a chance. Having said that 3 from 3 is not to be sniffed at so FGR have to be favourites.

Saw Goodwin-Malife is out for a while which will help us as he is as quick as anyone at this level and we like to play balls in behind.

Predictions are difficult at the start of the season but we aint gelling properly so 3-1 to the black and white stripes.

Played Salford last night. They try to play football but have Tom Elliott up front who is 6'5 so always have a long ball on and with Henderson buzzing around they will always cause problems. Lund is going to be a big player for them. It will be interesting to see the match up against Grant.

Hope that helps.

I know Barrow is remote but really? Isn’t Carlisle closer? Or Dale?

Sorry, I meant that they were our 'local' rivals for a few years in non-league - I think it swapped from Guiseley to Harrogate, before Fylde got promoted.

I heard Bradford played well but similarly Stevenage were a tad unlucky, a penalty that was never to be and a few chances they should have probably scored? all Stevenage need to do is score more and they’ll be competing at the right end.

I think Andy Cook is highly likely to score and Angol probable, so we’ll have to improve our finishing for Saturday!

Aha! I get you. Having been to both I’m unsure which away end is worse. Harrogate or Guiseley.

Even though we've been in the same division the entire time, I think it's more than three years since Barrow fans have been to Harrogate - they were building a new stand at the time, I think. Guiseley's away end was a footpath...

Trust you are joking. How can you comment on a game you didn't see. Stevenage were fortunate the score was only 4-1. As an earlier poster said, that level of performance is unsustainable and Clough will see to it that we are unable to play like that.

Their penalty claim was right in front of us. When shoulder meets shoulder, the stronger shoulder comes out on top. You certainly didn't see it so why make the claim it should have been a pen?

Complete crap from Revell. They were battered from the first minute and the scoreline flattered them.

I'd take Guiseley's footpath over what Harrogate have to offer..
