Our last three home games against Swindon have ended 3-1, 3-1 and 6-0, let's hope for the great results against Swindon at home to continue on saturday.

We are crap at the moment, but we are playing better away from home, but saying that scunny seem to like putting the ball in our net. At the moment we have no zest energy or the will to fight, it seems they are not as fit as they should be, and prone to injury., what the coaching staff do in training is anyones guess, and after nearly 3 months of the season , our coach , come manager has stated thst some of our players are still not match fit.... ......!
Head says another massacre ...... but heart is hoping for a draw ...... meh,

Banker of the weekend. Home victory.

A loss by 2 goals or less will be seen as a good result.

It's at times like this that we have often capitulated. I'd like to believe that we won't this season. If we get off to a good start it could easily be another 6-0 (there I go, setting myself up.....)

I fear it could be worse than last season, but in likelihood it won't be.

As bad as we were on Saturday it took two top class strikes to score against us, albeit from a poor side.

If I had to bet on it, Scunny by 2.

If we play like we did against Oldham, there will be something in it for Swindon. If we play like we did against Chesterfield, there will be nothing in it for Swindon. For me, the result depends on how we play, not Swindon. I am hoping Oldaham was a blip and Alexander goes with 4-4-2 as he did last time out. This 4-3-3 (4-5-1) he likes is certainly not for me when playing at home.

If we get anything here I'll buy a season ticket at The Kassam (empty internet promise but you get my point).

3-0.

5 - 0 Scunthorpe --- Easily the best team in the division.

Sounds like we're starting to get some of our injured hordes back - too soon for Scunny, though.

Tbh, I'd take a defeat for a cup win the following week. As we stand we are fucking hopeless.

As soon as I saw Branco starting I knew this was a win ;)

In all seriousness that was an excellent win. I thought for the first 15 minutes Swindon were excellent, the game plan seemed to be spot on and they looked dangerous. However, as soon as the goal went in you could see the game change. Swindon's lack of plan B became apparnt and we ran rampant until the end of the first half. In the 2nd we really took our foot of the pedal, Swindon changed formation and looked miles better. To concede is a bit annoying but you can't really complain when you win 4-1.

You always spank us! 4-0 at half time and then it's damaged limitations. Having Doughty and Jones back is massive, we have really missed them.

Oh and we scored from a corner, our least dangerous of our many non-dangerous weapons.

We always seem to beat you at our place and you always beat us at yours. Your header was a nice header, albeit very poor marking from us. Doughty looked good when he came on, you should really try and play 5-3-2 more as Delfounseo looked so isolated up top and was constantly screaming for support.

Interesting you've watched us for 90 minutes and have said what we've been saying for months now. Unfortunately our manager isn't a manager, but a coach and is tactically miles out of his depth. Doughty back is key for the tempo of our side, without him we are slow and laborious. (And fucking dull as hell to watch)

Anyway, good luck to Scunny, a team playing in front of small crowds, playing attacking football, scoring goals. Long may it last.

Who is Van Veen and why has he appeared on my Facebook feed dominating Swindon yesterday?

He's basically a better version of Dennis Bergkamp.
