Since it is now the close season, and thus there are no away followings to wank over, I thought of this thread.

How many season tickets have your club sold thus far for next season? How many do you expect to sell, are sales up or down on last season?

As of yesterday, Bury had sold 1,440 season tickets for next season. Early bird offer expires on the 30th May, with season tickets going off sale on the 30th August.

Apparently sales are 20% up on this time last season however it is probably just the same people renewing earlier..

I reckon we will sell around 2,500.

How about your club?

No idea, but I hope Bradford go up otherwise Firthy will be giving us over-estimated, thrice daily, updates.

I hope we go up too, otherwise you'll be still chirping on about me giving you over-estimated, thrice daily, updates.

We're a couple of hundred down from this time last year I believe.

3600 sold in our early bird period I seem to recall. Up from 2900 last year. Not sure if that 2900 is total or early bird last year though.

Not sure exactly how many we've sold. Heard it's somewhere around 4000, which I believe is higher than this time last year.
Reckon we could be on for 6-7000.

Not a clue. I'd guess that we'll be round about 2700.

We could sell more but wedon't have enough seats available. Roll on the new ground.

Ours won't be announced - I contacted the media guy and he says that we've never announced ST figures and never will do. Which seems a little bit 'North Korea'.

Think we had about 7000 season ticket holders this season in the championship but i reckon it will drop well below 6000 next season in this division.

We very rarely announce ours either.

That's pretty massive
It's bullshit as well. The last published figure for their sales was 2,500.
You will have to excuse the methane snorters, they have to add 'gas logic' to their numbers. For example their away followings are better than ours even though we average more and their 9,000 home gates are better than our 19,000 average.
We have learnt to live with the poor deluded souls. According to them, we only had 25,400 yesterday because 9,000 Birmingham supporters turned up! ;)

Not really bullshit considering Ian Holtby (stadium manager) told me on the last game, as I was in hospitality.
No exact figure has been published for a while. We'll definitely sell more than last season though.

That was hardly public knowledge fella? The last published figure was 2,500.

Thinking about it our attendances are gonna be proper shit next season compared to championship because i can only see Donny, Scunny, Portsmouth, Blackburn and maybe Wigan taking over a 1000 to us next season, Bradford if they don't go up.

Ours will stay around the 6,500 mark I'd expect.

That's 500 up on our league one promotion season and although we lost about a thousand ST's after relegation were in a better position than when we went up numbers-wise. That's not to bad, I'd say.

One thing that really seems to work are the Stadium Tours we do two or three times a week. Only small numbers (about a dozen or so) on each one but it seems to result in a steady trickle of ST sales. Having been in the bowels of our stadium a few times now, I can imagine how impressive it is to a newbie. When you see things like the dressing rooms, cinema room, media area etc. it's stunning for this level of football.

Been 3 times to stadium MK and i think it's the best new build outside the prem, just a shame it's only a 3rd full most matches.

Good times for Pompey again! May not seem like a big deal to most fans, but stopping that rot and climbing that first hurdle back to where you should be means a lot and it does create a fantastic vibe amongst a fanbase.

Good to see 'em back.

We're just shy of 19,000, but expect Thai to increase regardless of promotion or not.

that's a great effort in league 1 (possible champs, hope so)

must be nice allowing JSA applicants to afford Season tickets

If we didn't appeal to unemployed in Bradford we'd hardly get anyone through the door.

I don't know why Leeds don't half their season ticket prices though, they'd probably more than double their season ticket holders. I suppose a club your size though will make more money having expensive match day tickets, that's why it works so well for us as we have never got big numbers through the door through individual match day tickets(unless it's a big game).

I'm guessing you're enjoying last nights result lol. If we come up and Town stay down it'll be a cracking league next season.

They make far more money in ticket sales than any other club in the football league so don't need to reduce prices. Got that many fans always enough people to pay the stupid prices unfortunately

Our ST details finally realised today. How many we sell probably depends on who our new manager is and summer transfer business. Four categories for matchday admission, £20 the cheapest £28 the most expensive. That's a huge mistake for me as no home fans or neutrals who fancy taking in a game will pay the category B and A prices for games, plus it's not like we have any big away followings we can rip off in this league. I fancy only Blackburn, Bradford (if they don't go up) and possibly Pompey (if it's a Saturday and they're doing well) to bring over 2k. SC prices.png
