No match day thread yesterday so thought I'd get my thoughts across. Really disappointing result yesterday in what was always going to be a tough game, you could see they were desperate for revenge after the play off semi last season. Thought our performance was below par and there's still some glaring issues with the current set ups, mainly a lack of pace out wide, a lack of width, midfielders sat too deep and tempo far too slow. I think our midfield is also too powder puff and we're really missing a midfield general who will win the ball and put a foot in, but Carlos has already said that doesn't interest him.

In terms of the game I thought Brighton deserved the win overal, but again we've missed some great chances which on an other day could have seen us take a point minimum, Reach missed two while Lees had one cleared off the line. We need to find our shooting boots over the international break, especially since Forestieri seems a shadow of the player he was last season. Would be shocked if Brighton don't finish comfortably inside the top 6, a very strong unit and with Duffy and Dunk at the back are solid, bit disappointed we didn't play it in and around them more yesterday as they did seem a bit clumsy at times and we played it right into their hands. Also Anthony Knockaert is an odious little bastard but he's some player, exactly the type of winger we're crying out for. Tough game at leaders Huddersfield after the break coming up...
