Too early to claim this is a must win but it's quite important we get 3 points tomorrow, with a morale boosting late equaliser at Brentford before the International break hopefully we can repeat what we did last season and really kick on from this point. Expecting a few changes to the side as Carlos is really going to have to change from a 4-4-2 if he wants to accommodate all our midfielders, can see Hooper coming in for Joao and a debut for Adam Reach. Wigan aren't a bad side by any means but we should be winning this is we want to be in the top 6 at the end of the season.

I'm not going but I reckon we could get taught a lesson, especially if we concede an early goal. Defenders playing together for the first time spells disaster against the first real top team we're facing this season (sorry Bristol City fans). 3-5-1-1 formation I reckon with wing backs, both Perkins and Morgan are injured so this will probably be the way we go:

Bogdan

Burke
Buxton
Warnock

Byrne
Power
Gilbey
MacDonald
Garbutt

Powell/Yanic
Grigg

Sheff Wed 3-0 Wigan.

Got to fancy Wednesday getting their season going after a surprising slow start.

Not going today, as I'm off to watch Brook Golovkin fight, but this is a big game for us. Need that win to get back on track and keep fans behind team. Going for 3 1 Wednesday and a good performance to kick start our promotion charge.

Get in much needed 3 points, looked like it was going to be another disappointing afternoon when Will Grigg fired Wigan in front after a defensive mistake. We showed good character today though and a great ball from Bannan set Fletcher up for his first Owls goal, probably our two best players today. We were the better side first half but stepped it up a gear 2nd half and after Forestieri put us in front we could have scored 1 or 2 more, Wigan were poor and apart from the goal can't remember them really doing much. Feel like we are still wasting Almen Abdi in this role we're playing him in, but Fletcher and Hooper looks our most effective partnership. Going to enjoy my Saturday night now as we move onto Bristol City at Hillsborough.
