We're on a roll even we played dire against York we still got the win. Shrewsbury obviously not lost at home and I don't expect us to win a draw seems likely but I've just got a good feeling about it for some reason

Should be a good game. Our home record is superb, I think it's something crazy like 50 home l2 games without a defeat now.

From reading your forum (good read btw), I presume you'll go 4-5-1. Your best bet would be to take the game to us. Every team that has sat back this year, bar newport and Wycombe, have gone home empty handed. Really we should have won both of those too.

I think it'll be a 1-1 draw tomorrow.

Well at least my prediction was correct. Very good game. Point was the fair result. Southend by far the best team to visit our ground this season.

Good point for Southend that is. Be nice to see the Salopians back in league 1 next season.

Not a convincing performance by us and we got out of jail in my opinion as Southend were the better team on the day.
Worryingly we have lost 3 key players down the spine of the team in the last 3 home games with knee injuries and keeping them out long term,, Knight-Percival, Wesolowski and Mangan. Hopefully there will be sufficient quality in the squad to see is through but we can't afford anymore serious injuries.

Tricky away game at Carlisle on Tuesday who are improving under Curle!

Well when you consider 6 of our last 7 games have been against opposition in the top 7 at the time with only one defeat 1-0 at Burton I think we have done well and imo our performances have ranged from ok to good although I thought yesterday slipped below par but Southend possibly deserve credit for having a go at us.

How have the Shrews' performances been recently?

We made ourselves tough to beat over a very hard christmas period and have been a lot more fluent recently.

We had an awfully tough run of games with Oxford away, Wycombe home, Burton away and Luton away in succession. We then became a lot more fluent and scored 3 times against hartlepool and Stevenage before the neeport win and obviously saturday.

We're playing well but as a poster above alluded to, we're missing some huge players with serious injuries. Luckily Barnett, Southern and Grandison coming in shouldn't weaken us too much.
