It's a 36% increase, so theoretically everyone will get c.36% more than they do from the current dealApparently the deal is worth 600m. Will that be filtered down to all the football league clubs?
I bought ifollow for my lot, now find I hardly use it. I hate watching my own lot on tv.Infact i'd say that this iFollow thing for football league clubs has already started the trend of all league games being streamed.
I have seen every single Wednesday game this season so far regardless of whether i have been at the match or not, that is down to iFollow which is supposed to be for overseas fans only. But within VPN's and a few people who know what they're doing its quite easy to watch them games in the UK, at the moment the clubs aren't getting the revenue for that, when it finally happens legally they will.
Financially will be better for the clubs i'd imagine, i'd say most clubs suffer a drop in attendances for mid week games anyway and the 'core' that turn up every week regardless will continue to do so. For someone like me who can often be working away from Sheffield in the week its going to be very handy, the club still get the ST money from me not attending, i still get to see the game, and club get paid again for the fact its been broadcast, win win. That said i'm just one case and i can see why people won't like it.
I prefer watching the Soccer Special type shows anyway with the reporters/goals from around the grounds if I'm not sat in a stadium.
Will be some incredibly low turnouts for midweek games.
Already happening in L1. Even allowing for the fact that we are dogshit, 411 to AFC is pony. Imagine what it will be like in 2 years time.

Not me, said it before but this league is wank for coverage and exposure if you don't live in the town/area your team is in. It's not 1950 anymore and people move or support teams for reasons other than them being their home town. This is a good move, I'd happily pay to watch every Wolves game, even if it was on a slight delay. The current system I haven't signed up for as I still like footy to be a live event, and waiting 24 hours to watch a recording of the game is something I would have done when I was younger but that doesn't necessarily fit my current life/commitments.
