I'm hoping that Pompey's extra tower length (42ft) will make the Tangerines feel inadequate and underperform terribly.

We're trying to get a rare second win on the bounce but will we collapse again with the promotion places in sight against an in-form Blackpool? Here's to another evening of certain fans completely losing the plot 10 minutes into the game.

I was a tad worried when I saw Blackpool had scored 4 at Carlisle but after watching the highlights and seeing such bad defending I'm more confident.

Hope we join in with some Oyston out chants, not sure if we have any Blackpool fans on here but are the Oystons likely to be there?

Hoping for a Fratton Park love-in rather than an acrimonious breakup.

*vomits everywhere*

Really though, this is a game we have to win if we still want to harbor ambitions of Top 3 at this stage. A loss or a draw, and we'd be back to the same "we can't go on winning runs" attitude, but a win could really give everyone a boost. Can't make it tonight, but I'll be listening on Express regardless - should be a good one.

I'm going. Hope the atmosphere picks up and we all unite behind the team as SOS Pompey have called for.

Wonder if Blackpool have had much of a rest after getting back from Carlisle late on Saturday? Hopefully they'll run out of steam and it'll work to our advantage.

Scrappy 1-0 win to keep the boo boys happy.

Performance was much better than Saturday's especially in the first half.

Today showed why we have the best defence in the league. Back four were superb once again and Eoin Doyle really knows how to defend from the front.

Fun fact: We have two more points this season after 30 games than after 30 games last season. Game 31 was away to Barnet, we lost and it really put a dent in our promotion hopes.

Hopefully history doesn't repeat itself.
