A very important game coming up on Saturday vs Newport, win and the play-offs seem a very real proposition, lose and the momentum from our recent run of good results is lost.
I was fairly impressed with Newport when they beat us 2-0 earlier on in the season but we are definitely a stronger team at home this season than away from it, our recent form shows us unbeaten in five with three victories and four of those games being played against sides higher than us in the table, so i'm feeling quietly confident for tomorrow's game.
The signing of Keith Keane on loan from Preston is one that I am very intregued to see, prodominantly a defensive midfielder I hear but our midfield has looked fairly assured for the last couple of games so i'm expecting to see him in as cover for somebody along the defence (probably LB or CB) due to the four or five injuries we picked up from being such BIG PHYSICAL THUGS against Plymouth.
I'll go for a narrow 2-1 victory to the Boro with the deciding goal coming late on, and plenty of post-match comments about how dirty and cynical we are with less fouls and cards than the opposition... but oh well ;-)
