Yesterday after we pulled one back against Fleetwood myself and the people we went with didn't think we'd scored. The reaction to us scoring was that...odd. Even when we've been loosing by more I've seen more of a response. Turned round to see half of our kop still sat down. Not cheering, clapping, anything. Just sat down as if it was them that had scored, unreal and, quite frankly, embarrassing. Don't know if anyones ever experienced similar or just any 'weird' responses to other things?

Also heard our stadium announcer get booed which must be a new one. Our usual guy was off on holiday and the stand in decided that he had to read out the score at half-time...a few puzzled looks. Tell us to "give a round of applause" for a player being subbed (I'll decide who I clap, thank you very much) and then again, at full-time, he almost gleefully read out "And todays match has finished Sheffield United 1, Fleetwood Town 2" to which the already frustrated and angry kop jumped down his throat.

I'm not sure of % but I'm sure there are a large number of football fans who are mentally challenged. Some of the comments from people at Swindon games defy belief.

Given our gameplay all season has been possession based, sometimes it takes a little patience, particularly with such a young team. We've been winning in a few games and attacking, but if the winger (for example) has the ball and is crowded out, he passes it back to a defender on the halfway line to keep possesion and start again. Fine right? No!!! Cue hundreds of impatient, un-knowledgable twats to grown and yell "get it forward!!!!"

At least you stood up! Most of the people near me didn't even do that. Genuinely dont think I've ever seen owt like it. Such a far cry from the standing ovations the players received Vs Hull and Spurs despite having just conceded.

Also very odd was that I thought the ref yesterday had a very good game.

Agree, yesterday when we keeping possession in the last few mins at 3-0 up there were still some people urging the team to GET IT FORWARD

In previous seasons, our fans seem to urge the players to get it forward in a fast manner, but then after the game moan about the style of football..

Logic.

It certainly looked that way for a while, if someone would of told me he'd be going back to Fulham a hero, I'd of laughed in their face!

Last season it felt like there was a pause before any of the fans celebrated JETs freekick against port vale. From where I was sat I initially thought it landed on top of the net and im guessing the same for others

Then again it may have just been the part of the ground i was, as anyone in the east end would have been right behind it

Was a fantastic goal, I remember laughing about it cause someone on OTIB predicted a 5-0 win and to be 4-0 up at half time.

The comments from the morons around me wind me up far more than anything the team produced ever could.

Every fanbase has their fair share of idiots, obviously my post was alluding to Bristol Rovers, but it's always a minority..

Dare I say it, most Rovers fans I know are half normal!!

There is one guy in the main stand at Crewe that just shouts "COME ONNNNNN ALLLEEEEEXXXXXXXX" at the top of his voice every five minutes and irritates the f*** out of everyone.

I used to like his (I think it's him) complete dislike of Calvin Zola. Like seriously non-stop barracking for 90 mins every single home match. If you didn't know better you'd have thought Zola was an opposition player (obvious joke is obvious etc).

My favourite, other than someone shouting "Come on number 4!" to the actual King Kenny at Everton in the FA Cup, was a fan in the main stand, when Hulse played for us and Nistelrooy was at the height of his Man Utd career, pointing out "That's the difference between Van Nistelrooy and Hulse..." after Hulse had missed a chance. Quite.
