In their infinite wisdom, Sky have decided that this will be one of the games to accompany sunday roasts up and down the land. Can't say I'm overly excited about going to a Gills game on a sunday, but it is what it is.

So far this season we've won 3, drawn 1 and lost 1, which isn't too bad. We have gone behind in all of those games bar 1 though, which is a tad worrying. Haven't really noticed United's results so far, but they always seem to start slowly.

A repeat of last years 4-0 would be lovely, but I don't see us keeping a clean sheet. Might have a new player or two in the squad if today goes well, but otherwise it'll be a similar squad to the lot that went to Shrewsbury on saturday - Wagstaff and Jackson not far away from fitness though.

Bond
Pask - Ehmer - Oshilaja
Osadebe - Wright - Byrne - Konchesky
Dack
JET - Donnelly
Nelson, O'Hara, Oldaker, Hessenthaler, Knott, McDonald, List as a bench.

I think there will be goals, and I think they could be shared. 2-2.

Gillingham at 8/5 look tempting.

A 3-1 win for Gillingham in this one. Struggling to create chances big time other than the Crewe game. I think we've had about 7 shots on target in 6 games.

Difficult one to predict.

Lots of new faces in the SU team. On paper should be a good team but the new faces have struggled to come to terms with pressure and expectation. Hence why our away performances have been better than our home performances.

We've generally started matches really well, create a few chances but don't score. Then gradually we sink into our shells and if we concede then we lose confidence and struggle.

We had a first win of the season last week to Oxford. Went behind but scored 2 in the 2nd half to win 2-1, so hopefully it will have boosted confidence.

No idea what to expect so I'll sit on the fence a little.

Gills 1 Blades 1

Well we tend to concede first but then come back to get something, so judging on what you've said then United to score first and the game to finish as a draw is a damn good bet.

We tend to not show up on Sky, I remember that last minute winner v Wolves a couple years back.
And beating Tranmere about 10 years ago. Think that's it for league wins? Unless my memory's playing up (more than likely).

Blades fans, how's Duffy getting on? He ran the show for Burton at our place last season. I too think this one will be a draw, let's say 1-1.

Kevin Lisbie with a last minute winner against Bournemouth about 15 years ago, and then tonking them 4-1 at home a couple of seasons later. Both of those were league games on Sky.

Kevin Lisbie was great with us. Remember him scoring a couple in a 4-0 win over Lincoln and thinking he was a sure thing to be a future star. To be fair he did alright for himself.

In the last 10 years I bet you've only been on about 6 or 7 league games anyway. 3rd time we've played you on sky at your place the other 2 were championship games. Peschisolido scored hatrick in one on a Saturday teatime and I'm memory serves me right we won 3-1 on a sunday dinner In the other I think jagielka scored that day. Went on a supporters bus for that one how depressing. Think I'm giving it a miss on sunday can't be bothered with the journey home after another shite display. The only good part of the trip would be a Saturday night down there.

Duffy has been pretty poor in his early matches.

However in his last game he was OK, kind of average, so at least he's improving.

Our assistant manager was on the radio in the week saying most of the Summer signings are struggling to come to terms with the big club expectation but he's confident they'll prove to be great buys and he's confident they'll adjust and improve throughout the season.

I recall a win at Watford, on a Sunday lunchtime (2-0?), sometime in the late 90s.

Assume we'll line up 3-5-2 which is new for us so will be interesting to see.

Both sides looking ropey at the back, especially Gillingham. Could have been a goal each quite easily.

We've been shit but I feel relatively comfortable. Blades haven't created much, we do keep gifting them the ball too close to our own goal though. Cody should've scored early on but other than that not a lot to report.

Classic hand ball!

I like the way he stretched to make sure he made decent contact with it.

What an absolute c*** of a performance. All we did for 90 mins was give the ball away. Chronic having to listen to the bias from Sky as well.

I'm off to the pub.

Best way to win it in the last minute, did you go down in the end?

No i didn't bother. We played very well I thought and definitely deserved the win onwards and upwards up the blades

I don't care how young you are, that handball was abysmal and why Sky tried to condone it I do not know. My u10s team know not to punch the ball in the box!

We were absolutely fine until half time, then make a stupid tactical change which we didn't need to do. Then take off our two biggest threats.

Anyone have any idea why? Cause none of us have....
