That's the only downside. He'll do what Bamford and Afobe did after decent spells in the first half of the season and move on to a bigger club.

Well, for a start, Henderson is better. And I'd also have Milner over him.

Why isn't it? You ask me to explain why Harry Potter's enemy wouldn't be Liverpool's best midfielder and I've pointed out that two members of Liverpool's current midfield are better. But to elaborate a little, all three are very good on their day but both Henderson and Milner are more consistent and more reliable.

Shelvey would make a great squad member and I like him, but he wouldn't be a regular first team starter if he was still at Liverpool.

I can only suggest you keep a stern eye on Shelvz this season. This will be the season he's cements himself as a top class PL centre midfielder. It's pretty apparent why Henderson has got to his level at the age he is, good attitude & work ethic. In terms of talent, he's nowhere near Shelvey. Take Shelvey's two assists this season, has Henderson got that in his locker? Ze answer is no my friend.
