Well, never thought we'd be travelling to the County Ground for a league game. Given their home form and our new signings, quite a few think we might have half a chance of getting something.

Seems away fans are in the Arkell Stand now, which is good, back in 07 was my only experience of the Stratton Bank, and the facilities were a bit shit tbh. That was a cracking cup tie, we were very unlucky tro lose 3-2 and it was one of the best atmosphere's we've had away. Should be one of our largest away followings of the season, although nowhere near the almost 2k we took then.

Expecting goals. Kaiyne Woolery is nailed on to score.

Looking forward to abusing Chuckles - again. If we have turned the corner re home form we should be putting this lot to the sword.

Are you on the first coach or the second?

Hope the Swindon fans are gonna be on their toes, FGR now have a 'firm' and they're coming to this and apparently are on the lookout for trouble:

I'm in the one at the Mem, a most unexpected away win and possibly the most enjoyable.

Forest Green were absolutely horseshit in the game at their gaff.

But we are horseshit at home so this will probably be a draw. I was thinking of going, but have decided I cba.

I boldly put us down for a win on our prediction thread on the basis of your home form and our new boys making our defence a bit less paper bag, but early days for them as a unit so draw probably more likely.

Yeah that was a great day, Danny Coles getting abuse all game and then scoring the winner, and then their lad getting sent off right in front of us with us all waving those kick it out red cards at him, brilliant.

I predict we'll win the banter! Your just a small town near Oxford etc.
I think we'll play out of our skins for this one, and win it.
Southern Softies 0 - 2 Dirty Northern etc.

The fact there isn’t even a match day thread on our busiest forum suggests little to no interest currently!

I’ve got tickets but have been poleaxed by some flu bug. In my drug induced half coma this morning I distinctly remember a 5-0 and a fan on the pitch ramming a corner flag up Chuckles’ arse.

Competing OK first half but Rawson got sparked out accidentally and has had to go to hospital so back line will be shakier and young Brad has had to make a couple of good saves.

Didn't do much to get back in it either, couple of penalty shouts according to the commentary but hardly knocking on the door. Back in the drop spots.

Watched on iFollow. Both teams need to go to football school. Fucking disgraceful viewing. Just because we are in the bottom tier surely doesn’t mean we have to have this shite served up.

How the hell we’re 2 points off the autos is baffling. The standard in this league is awful. Fair play to the 7062 who paid hard cash to watch that shit.

Did you hear an away support figure? Nothing given that I can tell, commentators reckoned around 500.

Strangely, we seem to have stopped giving out away numbers lately. Probably some scam or other.

Aside from Luton and notts everyone in the upper half of the division are equally shit. But thankfully the bottom half of league one is no better.

Funniest moment of the day was a woman on the train back home from the match. Asked me the score, which of course I provided, only to be told that she was an Oxford fan who used to do stewarding at Swindon Town, so she hates Swindon, then she is a Liverpool fan but her partner follows Man Utd, so they both put on their football shirts and shout abuse at each other, sort of yeah but no but yeah...think Vicky Pollard minus the charm and you will be just about there.

Only other thing, thank you to the vast majority of Swindon Town fans who applauded Rawson when he was being stretchered off the pitch, showing far more class than those fans from just up the road who shouted abuse at one of our players in similar circumstances when we played them at home earlier in the season.
