Firstly, you don’t have to worry about us equaling Lutons scoreline on Saturday. We are a striker short for that to happen. We should be getting one in January so, there’s that.

I would hope you might be worn out from Luton so we might be able to capitalise in that. I’d be happy with a point though.

I would take a draw now as we are not that great at the moment and you and your fans will be demanding a response from what happened to you when Luton was in town we'e should 6-700 tickets for this game

Can’t be bothered compiling a list of 1,000 things i’d rather be doing than hauling my arse west to the County Ground so I won’t.

We’ll be shit and lose, of that I’m fairly sure.

It will not be a forgone conclusion. I hope we come away with at least a point but with a 7 point cushion it won't be the end of the world if not.

I think our unbeaten run will come to an end. We are always poor against Swindon. They're a decent side, tough away game at Christmas.

Got to believe that it's a win for us, after boxing Day, we can't go on like this at home. Tight game with 1 goal in it. Crowd about 7000

Don’t get me wrong to have a 7 point breathing space is great but it’s not like it’s 7 points and then a few more. If we were to be clawed back there is a potential drop right down to 9th as there’s a clump of teams within grasp of that 40pt mark.
I’d much prefer us to keep up this momentum which will hopefully mean those below us begin to sort them selves and bigger gaps appear.

After this game Noble is in contention and we could have a new striker (apparently it’s a marquee signing either way) so I would hope a few players will be out to keep their place ahead of the January sales

I'm off to Bournemouth for the New Year weekend, so Flitcroft and his band of useless hoofers can suck my steaming stump

Apart from one player our bench looks a little worrying.
Sounds as though it’s not a great game and 0-0 probably reflects that.

Appreciate it's a busy schedule but Nolan's insistence on playing a Carabao Cup team every couple of weeks is a bit annoying.

Lost a game which had 0-0 written all over it. Fair play to Swindon they got the job done we had nothing going forward without Ameobi and forte missing today but almost snatched a point at the end.

Our lack of squad depth is killing us. The bench was threadbare and the team that started wasn't our strongest either.
We are staggering a bit at the moment and the window is crucial for our season.
Fair play to Swindon, earned the win and from the commentary, deserved it too.

Probably the worst we’ve played all season, deserved home win. Looked like we really missed a couple of injured players for the first time as well.

Did think that Swindon smashing that drop ball in stoppage time into the corner and then boxing us in was absolutely piss poor, mind. On the borderline of being just blatant cheating.

Unlike Cambridge fans (after we played them) I can't with a straight face come on and say it was anything else.

I thought he was going to put it out for a goal kick, which would have been just about OK, but a throw in right in the corner wasn't right.

I think it just shows just how desperate we were for a win at home. We have been so (relegation) bad at home.

I'd say we deserved to win, although match stats are sometimes misleading, they did seem to weigh heavily in our favour.

Ironically County are just the kind of team I think Flitcroft is trying to build, Big Strong, Organised & don't give much away. The kind of team that gets promoted out of this division, but probably then needs some rebuilding to do well in League 1

That is just my problem with Flitcroft/Power. All well and good going for an instant return to L1 but none of the present lot are good enough - bar a fast improving Woolery. So what happens then? Another rebuild with no more money than we had this season.

And Flitcroft’s Neanderthal tactics will get us nowhere in L1.

It’s going to be a big rebuilding job for us in the summer whatever happens with two of our three best players on loan. Could be sooner if Forest’s new manager fancies having a look at them.
