Where have all the Walsall fans gone? There used to be a couple of pretty decent regular posters?

Anyway, on the back of 2 wins on the spin/bounce we have on paper a bit of a 'gimme'. However Walsall have forward Adebayo in their ranks and he's bound to come back to haunt us. For us, Lloyd Isgrove is out injured but DJ has looked good in his recent games, slowly getting fitness after time out injured.

Doyle and Yates are bang in form and we have been playing well and with confidence. I think we'll get our third win on the trot. 2-0

Truly dire player. Hate playing teams on a long losing run - but, fuck it, we’ll smash ‘em!

Toss of the coin game due to the conditions.

I thought Walsall looked way above a team close to the bottom - obviously lacking up top, but everything else was very good. We probably got away with it today.

There’s no way they will continue to struggle.

It sounds like a game of attrition on Saturday. Poor conditions for both side. Another early goal for Doyle should have settled us down and another early goal just after half time should have been game over. But Walsall scored what looked like a goal from a keeper error (although I think the defence was flat-footed and made it look like a flappy keeper) and that seemed to give Walsall impetus.

On paper we should have won that game and so happy that we did and Walsall gave us a much better game than anticipated.

FA Cup next week and then back to the league away at Salford where at least a draw will keep us on track.

That's 6 straight defeats for Walsall. Fuck me, thought Clarke was a quality appointment but they seem to be utter toilet so far.

Tbf, they looked nothing like a bottom 4 side. Nice, controlled build up play but with no happy ending.
