Will we see beast mode?

Wycombe have started the season well and we have been inconsistent but slowly getting there. If our home form was as good as our away form we would be flying, but something is not right at home.

I am hopeful that Wycombe may come to attack which may suit us.

I'm going to my first game in ages and quite looking forward to it. 1-1 draw is my prediction.

We will attack from the kick off mate it's how Ainsworth has us playing recently he's obviously realised his shit football wasn't working pissing off opposition fans and Wycombe fans. Injury list is improving with Sam Saunders and Luke O'Nien fit and Marcus Bean has served his one match ban so we'll have a strong midfield and Mackaill-Smith and The Beast up front with Either Freeman or Umerah expect some goals,i'm going for a Wycombe win 2-1 or possibly with our soft defence 3-2. Unbeaten away since February i just wish our home form wasn't so patchy and if we don't lose we'll break our club record.

Sounds like it should be an exciting game then!

That's not a bad strike force for league 2. Is CMS still a pacy nuisance?

Sounds like you are experiencing similar issues at home, which doesn't appear to be unique to league 2 sides this season I have noticed, loads of away wins this season.

Started off slowly but has recently picked up his pace and started scoring at last as well,i thought he'd be a poor signing after an injury but what the hell do i know i didn't want The Beast either but he banged in 18 goals last season and 6 so far in this.

Seeing the weather forecast for tomorrow there's a good chance this could be off, lets just hope the BBC weather forecasters have got it all wrong yet again!

Hopefully not, I have spent the best part of £50 on ticket and train tickets!

ffs 2 more defenders out injured so a midfielder goes to right back, only 5 subs and one of them is a keeper, can see our unbeaten record of 13 away games coming to an end with that patched up team.

Any win is a good win at home for us. Well worth it, too. And, after being pretty poor so far, we are in the playoffs and only 4 off the autos!

Bit of a dilemma with Smith replacing Norris and scoring - he is the more natural player to start with our long ball ‘style’. Yet Norris has come on leaps and bounds this season.

The weather ruined any 'spectacle' today.

We had the wind first half and pushed Wycombe back. Great finish by Smith from a Taylor cross and the Wycombe keeper made some decent stops to keep them
In it. Never seen a team time waste in the first half of a game before, however we did the same in the second!

It was heart in mouth time in the second half as Wycombe pinged in cross and corner after corner but we managed to defend manfully and hold on for a well earned 3 points.

Awful spectacle really. Thought we worked very hard and our front 2 Smith and Anderson impressed me with their workrate.

One of those rare occasions where we won and I'm glad I didn't go. Must have been shocking to watch in that wind.

7 players missing through injury 5 of which would have probably started even our back up defender who always warms the bench was missing. The majority of the injuries happened on the training pitch including Michael Harriman's broken leg last month, fuck knows what Ainsworth has our players doing but he needs to change his training regime and start from scratch. It's part of football that players miss games through injuries picked up during matches i can accept that but not when so many get injured training.
Wasn't there even though it was fairly near to me (Wells) but illness again stopped me going thank god  I listened to the game and it sounded like our keeper Brown kept us in it indeed he got our motm so no complaints about the result i just wish we didn't keep making life hard for ourselves if we have any hope of trying for promotion this season.

Not a dig, but it’s been mentioned before. Is time wasting a regular tactic of yours?

It was but that's calmed down this season as we keep looking to score, from what i understand at the end of the first half we did it against the wind to try and keep it it to 1-0 at H/T then late in the 2nd Swindon did the same in the dreadful conditions not that i blame you. Some of those who started yesterday used to play shit hoofbal/time wasting in previous seasons but some of them wouldn't even make the bench if everone was fit.My cousin who was there said he couldn't believe we were playing hoofball in that wind as the ball was flying everywhere but where it was intended. :ffs:
